PIPER'S POV

Behind the closed doors, it was loud. So many people packed together in one room means so many voices, and it's almost impossible to hear what's going on our side of the doors. Which is a great thing because it means that my guest (and Tony) can't hear Seren barking commands at us like we're dogs.
"Jessica, no. No, no. You're holding your flowers all wrong... Jaime! Get back here, we're about to start. He's your boyfriend, control him! Alysha, Mike, you're doing a great job, just wait two seconds while I- VICTOR VINCENT FUENTES WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"
Vic looked up shamefully at Seren. "I'm hunefry." He said through a mouthful of food.
"Well, hurry up the piano is supposed be starting in two minutes which means we enter in two minutes. Vic, you're supposed to be the best man, you should kno- JAIME!"
Jaime jumped back in line right in front of me. Jessica whispered something to him, then laced her arm with his. He turned around and gave me a big smile.
"You look good." He said.
"Oh, stop Hime Time, you're making me blush."
He leaned backwards to whisper to me. "You should have just let me be your maid of honor, it would be a lot more fun."
"I don't think it works that way, Jaime." I whispered back.
He laughed and opened his mouth to say something else, but then the piano started. Seren whipped her head back to make sure everyone was correctly in line.
Then, she took the first step and it started.
I suddenly felt as if I were going to puke. My stomach was up in my throat, and my hands were sweaty. I started shaking violently, my nerves were finally getting to me. What if he doesn't like the dress? What if he says the wrong name like Ross did in that Friends episode? My mind was racing, I need a drink. I need a hit. I NEED SOMETHING.
My dad leaned down. "You're going to be okay, baby." He whispered into my ear. I realized that I was shaking so much, it was causing my parents to shake.
I tried to reply, but there was a lump in my throat. Jaime and Jessica took off in front of me. It was our turn next. Oh gosh, I'm so nervous. What if I forget my vow? No, we wrote those. I sigh a sigh of relief for the first time in the past five minutes. Writing the vows, so smart! Now I know neither of us could mess up.
I was staring at the ground when I heard the sound of people rising out of their seats. This meant it was our turn.
"Ready?" My mom whispered.
I couldn't talk, I just nodded my head.
Then, we were off.
I looked at the first two faces I saw; Kellin and Katelynn. Kellin smiled and gave me a thumbs up, and almost made me forget where I was. My eyes traveled down the rows of family and friends, then up to Tony.
Tony was standing there with the biggest smile on his face. He cupped his hands over his mouth, just smiling. He punched Vic in the arm and said something to him, but never took his eyes off me. As we got closer, I could see his eyes shining with tears. I smiled back at him. He's such a weenie, but he's my weenie.
We got to the edge of the stairs that lead up to the stage. Tony was walking down them as my mom kissed my cheek and my dad hugged me. At once, my parents let go and sat down, leaving me to Tony.
He extended his hand out to me, and I took as he lead me up the steps. I laced my fingers with him, wanting to stare at him, but I had to watch my step. I could feel his eyes on me the whole way up.
Here I am. Standing in front of the love of my life, and even though there's a room full of people, all I see is him.
"You're so beautiful." He whispered.
I smiled. "You're so handsome." Were the first words I said since this started.
"Friends, family, we are gathered here today-" The preacher we hired began. I wanted to listen to what he was saying, but I was lost in Tony's eyes. I can't believe where I am. I can't believe I'm standing in front of this man, this amazing man, who is my complete opposite. But, I'm so happy I am here.
"...Piper and Tony decided to write their own vows, and under the bride's request, Tony will be saying his first."
Tony let go of my right hand and brought his hand up to his chest pocket. Then to his pants pocket. He let go of my other hand in a search for his vow. He leaned back and whispered something quickly to Vic. Vic replied, and Tony shook his head. I'm so confused, where are his vows? He didn't memorize them, did he?
He took a deep sigh, then smiled at me, yet again.
"Piper Lynn..."

VIC'S POV

"Piper and Tony decided to write their own vows, and under the bride's request, Tony will be saying his first."
Tony's getting married, man. My best friend and the best guitarist in the world is getting married. I always thought Jessica and Jaime would be the first, but I'm kind of happy it's Piper and Tony first. I never thought Tony would fall for Piper, even though that was my plan all along.


"Vic!" Leanna shouted at me as Jacob and I entered their apartment. I was taken back a little bit by her shouts.
"Hello?" I said, in shock. Jacob laughed at me.
"Vic, who was that guy? You know, the one we all drank with the other night? Gauges, tattooes..."
"Tony?"
"Yeah! Him! Is he single?"
"Leanna, no." Jacob said.
Leanna looked from me to Jacob. " 'Leanna, no' what?" She snapped.
"You're not hooking Piper and Tony up!" She wants to hook Piper and Tony up?
"Piper's the maid of honor, right?" I asked, hoping that's not who I'm thinking of.
"Yes, and my sister." DAMN. Then she's hot as all hell. I was planning on hitting on her at the wedding. Her green eyes and just damn, she's so attractive. What I would-
"Is he single or not?" She asked again. Jacob sighed besides me, which was another way of saying that Leanna had won that argument.
"Yeah, he's single. But I don't know if your sister is exactly his type." I said, in hopes that I could still get with Piper.
She gave me a dirty look. "What do you mean, how is she not his type?"
"Tony likes well, sweet girls, and your sister is a little sassy."
Leanna gasped like that was a shocker.
"Well, he is right babe." Jacob added.
Leanna leaned against the couch and crossed her arms. "He's so nice, and Piper needs someone nice after that dr-never mind. I just thought maybe they could hit it off at the wedding or something."
I started to feel guilty. Maybe I should give Tony this one. "I mean, we can always try."
Leanna's face lit up with excitement. "Okay, so here's the plan!"

I watched Leanna sit at the table and speak quickly to her sister. After a few minutes of what looked like arguing, Leanna stood up and walked back over to me.
"Well, that was a bust." She whispered before lacing her fingers with Jacob again. I searched quickly for Tony, who was over by the bar. In almost a sprint, I ran over there. This plan is going to work. I'm going to make this work.
"Tony, man, here you are!" I said as Tony grabbed his beer.
"What's up, Vic?" He said quietly.
"Having fun, huh? Checking out all the hotties?"
Tony laughed quickly. "No, man."
"Have you danced with anyone yet?"
"Well, no, but-"
"Look at her!" I said, pointing at Piper, who was still sitting at the table.
"The maid of honor?" He asked.
"Yeah! Ask her to dance!" Please work, please work, please-
"Actually, I think I'm going to go outside and drink my beer." He said, then I watched him walk out the back door.
I walked away from the bar, hitting someone with my shoulder by accident.
"Oh, sorry!" I said quickly. I looked over to see Piper.
"You're fine." She said sourly, then walked to the bar.
Damn, maybe I don't want to sleep with her either.

"I was so sure this plan was going to work!" Leanna whispered quickly to Jacob and I. "Vic, you don't understand how much I needed this to work. She's been miserable, and I don't want her to get addic-"
"Leanna, Vic." Jacob said. We both looked at him. He was pointing at the dance floor. We followed his finger to see Piper whispering something to Tony, he placing his hand fiercely on her hip. Leanna's jaw dropped, and I was in just as much shock as her.
"Looks like they didn't need us to find each other." Leanna said with a smile.
I was watching them, and for the first time in months, I saw Tony smile. A real smile.

The flashback was interrupted by Tony, who was whispering to me.
"Dude, do you have my vows?" He whispered.
I patted myself down, and my eyes grew wide as I remembered. "Dude, they were in the other suit." I whispered back.
Tony's already big eyes grew wider with worry. "Damn it, I'll just wing it." He said, then stood up straight once again.
Mike leaned into my shoulder. "What's going on?" He whispered.
I opened my mouth to answer, but then I heard whisper-singing from behind Mike.
"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard..." Jaime was whispering, slightly swinging his hips. Mike and I shushed him at the same time.
"The vows are in the other suit." I whispered.
"I could've told you that!" Jaime chimed in.
Mike and I both stared at him. "Why didn't you say something earlier?" Mike hissed.
Jaime shrugged. "Didn't think about it."
I shook my head and looked forward. Seren was giving me a glare that I knew meant trouble. My heart dropped into her stomach. I mouthed vows, then pointed at Tony to give her the hint that they were in the other suit. Seren's eyes grew wide, and she placed a hand on her forehead.
"Piper Lynn." Tony began. Oh, Tony, please say something right. "Almost three years ago, I met you at this amazing place. It was at your sister's wedding that I was forced to go to, thanks, Vic," I chuckled. "and I really didn't want to go. That whole night, Vic had been bugging me to dance with a girl. But, not just any girl, you. I ignored him, and I went outside to drink my beer in peace. I remember the door being swung open, and I looked up to see you standing there. I thought Vic had put you up to coming to talk to me, but after a few sips of our drinks, you told me you were hiding too. We weren't in great places at that time, but sometimes, in the darkest places, you meet the best people. We've been through so many things Piper, and I've been here for some of the worse moments of your life. I vow to you, that for the rest of our lives, I will be there for any other hardships that come our way. I vow to make you the happiest person on earth and to love you always, because any second I'm not loving you is a second wasted. I vow to protect you if you aren't protecting me, and to always hold your hand in public. I vow to be the best husband I can be, because I know I'll mess up. I'm bound to mess up, you know that better than anyone else. But, even in my mess ups, I know you'll still love me." He took a deep sigh, and it didn't take long for any of us to realize that he was crying. "I-I never thought that I would ever find a woman to love me as much as I loved her. I fell hard for the wrong people, and when I met you, I thought that you were another wrong person and I was bound to spend the rest of my life with the wrong people. But, after a while, you made me feel whole. I couldn't stop thinking about you, Piper, I couldn't stop talking about you, and every time you were near me, I felt happy. And I'm still happy. The only thing that's changed is that you're now going to be my wife." He took a deep breath. "My beautiful, amazing, sassy wife that I wouldn't trade you for all the money or fame in the world. You make me whole, and I'm so glad, that almost three years ago, because without you in front of me now, I don't know what I would do. Piper Lynn, I'm so happy you said yes. Here's to forever and then some. I wouldn't want to spend forever with anyone else."
I looked up at Piper, who was sobbing. I couldn't help but cry either. They're perfect for each other.
The preacher looked at Piper. "And now, for Piper's."
Piper took the paper from Seren and opened her mouth to speak. Nothing came out. She just cried harder. Tony stepped forward and wrapped her in his arms as she cried into his shoulder. After a few minutes of holding each other, Piper calmed down, and Tony let go.
Piper laughed. "I promise, I'm not crying because I have to spend the rest of my life with him." The crowd laughed. "I really don't know if I can top that, did you memorize that whole thing?" Tony nodded his head. I saw Seren roll her eyes and smile as I tried to hold back a laugh. "Well, I'm reading this off the paper because I'm not a show off like Tony. Okay, let's see... Tony." She paused and just smiled at him. "You know how much I absolutely hate weddings and anything that involves the l word." She looked out at the crowd. "Love, people, love. When you asked me to marry you, so many thoughts were running through my head at once. I was in shock that you knew how much I didn't like weddings, but you still asked me to marry you. After a little incident, I was so happy to say yes. I didn't reject him at first, for all of you who don't know. It was always a yes." She smiled at him. "You put up with all the stress that came along with being engaged to me, and the planning process was rough, let me tell ya. But, you were there to hold my hand and calm me down, and to bring me a glass of wine. I'm not perfect, in fact, I'm so far from perfect it's almost embarrassing. Yet, you tell me all you can how perfect and how beautiful I am. I always thought you were stupid, really, but the way your eyes smiled showed me that you were being so honest. You are my polar opposite. You are the mushy one while I'm the one that's like 'ew, emotions'. But, you still love me the same. I know you're going to be the best husband, and if the time comes, you'll be the best father. Gosh, our kids are going to be adorable! I'm excited that you asked me to spend forever with you, to go through life with you. It's impossible to think what life will be like without you. I can't wait to be 40, still singing at the top of my lungs at a Pierce The Veil concert. I believe in you so much Tony, you're going to change the whole world. And while you're doing that, I vow to be the best wife I can be, even though it may come with a little sass. I vow to love you until my last breath, and then love you forever in Heaven. God did such a great job on you, Tony, and I'm so grateful he placed you in my life. I vow to support you regardless of what you do. I'm on your side, always." Piper teared up. "I can't promise we won't disagree on somethings, but I still promise to fall asleep in your arms every night, even if I'm mad at you. I'm going to mess up. We're both going to mess up, but that's okay, because at the end of the day, you're still mine, and that's all I can ask for. Thank you, Tony, for giving me so many more chances than I deserve. I vow to never let you down. Or give you up. Or run around. Or desert you." The crowd laughed, along with Piper and Tony. "All jokes aside, you're the love of my life, and I'm so glad I fell in love with you." Her lip trembled as she cried again. She gave the paper back to Seren, then laced her fingers with Tony's yet again.
"Rings?" The preacher said. I reached in my pocket and grabbed Piper's while Seren grabbed Tony's. The preacher took them, then extended the hand that held Piper's out to Tony. "Place this ring on Piper's finger and repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
Tony pushed the ring up Piper's finger. "With this ring, I thee wed."
"Place this ring on Tony's finger and repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed."
Piper pushed the ring up Tony's finger with shaking hands. "With this ring, I thee wed."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Perry." He smiled at the couple. "You may now kiss the bride."
Tony grabbed Piper's lower back to pull her into him, then kissed her. They were leaning back and Piper shot her fist in the air that held the bouquet.
Mr. and Mrs. Perry.
It's about damn time.
