I Introduce The Selfish Machine

Jaime and I sprinted through the airport, trying to get to the parking lot in time. 3 hours and 2 minutes until the wedding, and I don't even have a suit.
I jumped in Jaime's car, and we speeded down the highway. I threw my head in my hands. Piper's going to be so mad at me, I don't even want to look at her. Should I just- No, Tony, you're not going to be the guy that ditches his wedding. But, the glare I'm going to get from Piper is going to kill me. 2 hours and 59 minutes until I'm the worst husband in the world.
"Dude, your phone." Jaime said as he past an old man on the highway. I looked down to see Seren's contact.
"Hello?" I said, worried. Piper already knows, oh God, Piper already knows.
"I called Vic's suit guy," Vic has a suit guy? "and sent him a picture of your suit. He'll have it ready for you if you hurry. I sent the directions to your phone, just don't screw anything else up!"
I sighed. "Oh, Seren, thank you so much. How can I repay you?"
"By not being late." Click.
I shouted the address to Jaime, and off we went. Seren saves the day.

SEREN'S POV

Piper stood in front of the mirror, looking like a princess. I was completely in awe of my beautiful best friend. Her green eyes popped and her cherry red lips made her teeth look even shinier than they already are. She looked so pretty. Karen had tears in her eyes.
"Piper, you're so pretty." She said with a squeaky voice.
Piper smiled into the mirror, then sighed a sigh of relief and cupped her hands over her heart. "I look great and nothing has gone wrong today!" I forced a smile. Oh, if only she knew. Piper turned to me. "Seren, how's Tony look?"
Lie, Seren. Lie. "So handsome." I said softly. Alysha shot her eyes at me, seeing through my lie. Piper, however, didn't seem to notice.
"Oh, good! I'm so excited. You know, as much as I hate weddings and everything about them, I've never been more excited. I'm marrying Tony, the love of my life. All thanks to Leanna." She said, softly. She leaned over and picked up Payton, who was staring at her aunt awkwardly. "You have the best mother in the world." She said, then placed a kissed on Payton's cheek.
"Oh! I need a picture of that!" Karen said
"Got it." Adam Elmakias as he popped out out of nowhere. I almost forgot he was the wedding photographer.
I heard my phone ding from across the room. Jessica looked down. "The best man is summoning you." She said.
I smiled at Piper. "You look gorgeous. I'll be right back, okay?" I said.
"Okay, and hey, take Tony his gift." She said, nodding towards the small box that sat next to the hairspray. I nodded, trying not to show the worry on my face, then ran out.
I went to knock on the guy's dressing room, but the door was already open, so I let myself in.
"What's up?" I said.
Tony turned and looked at me. "Is my bow tie okay?" He asked quietly.
I've never been so happy to see Tony. I threw my arms around him and hugged him. "Thank God, I was so worried!"
"Me too. Thank you for fixing my suit problem."
"Thanks for flying back. Your bride looks gorgeous." I said.
Tony smiled at me. "She's always gorgeous, regardless of the day."
I smiled. Piper found the right guy. "Save it for out there, Romeo." I said.
"What's that?" Vic said, pointing at the box in my hand.
"Oh, from Piper." I said, extending my hand to Tony. He took the box and opened it quickly. A black and silver (expensive) watch sat there.
"Oh, this is awesome!" Tony said. "Smack her butt for me as a thank you."
My jaw dropped. "She spent all that money on you and you want me to-" I snapped, angry. He's late and being rude.
"I'm kidding, Seren. Is she wearing her charm bracelet?"
I was shocked. Late, and jokes? He's walking on glass. "Well, yeah-"
Tony placed a small, fabric bag in my hand. I opened it to find a little, silver charm that said "Mrs".
I smiled. "She'll love this."
Tony looked like he was about to cry. "I know she will. I can't tell you how lucky I got, Seren, and I'm so upset I messed this day up so much. I know you're upset with me, and if you were Leanna, you would've choked me by now. But I promise, that for the rest of our lives, I will love her more and more every single day, and I won't stop even for a second because that second will be wasted if I stop. I promise, I'll make this up to her. But let's keep it a secret for now because I want to be stabbed after I see her in her dress."
I laughed, then hugged Tony.
They're prefect for each other.
