I Introduce The Selfish Machine

I was pulling my hair out of my face when Jaime spoke up from next to me.
"Where the hell is Vic? He knows we need help." Jaime said. He was standing there all sassy with his arms crossed. All we were doing was moving a couch, I don't see why it matters.
"What is with that sassy stance, Hime-Time?" I asked. "You know I am the one and only queen of sass. Don't steal my thunder."
Jaime grabbed me and lifted me above his head. He started screaming and ran through the apartment with me. I was laughing, trying not to be afraid of this idiot dropping me. Once we got in the kitchen, Jaime placed me on the counter.
"Don't sass me again, Kristianson."
"Shut the hell up, Preciado."
"Was that sass?" Jaime asked, then began to pick me back up when Tony walked in.
"Hey hey hey, put her down. I don't want her hurt, she's fragile." Tony said, walking over to me. I punched him in the arm. "Uh, ow!"
"And I'm the fragile one." I said. Mike walked in the kitchen and headed towards the fridge.
"Pipe, have you moved your liquor in yet?" He said, almost inside the fridge.
"Uh, no. It's still at the studio. You can go grab it if you want." I said. Mike looked up and I threw him the keys.
"Because that's what we need, Mike drinking and driving." Jaime said.
"Hey, shut up." Mike said. He looked around the corner. "I'm heading out, but Vic's here now. Do you need me to grab anything else at the studio."
"Yeah, any boxes left." I said.
Mike pointed at me. "You got it." And then he left. Once he was gone, Vic walked around the corner.
"I brought help." Vic said. Behind Vic was a little bitty thing with long brown hair. She was only a few inches shorter than Vic, and she wore shorts that showed off her skinny legs and a tanktop that was baggy. She looked like she spent forever on her makeup, did she even know where she was going? "Guys, this is Seren. Seren, this is Jaime, Piper-" Vic pointed at me. She gave me a slight smile and waved, and I raised my eyebrows at her. "And you already know Tony." Already knows Tony? Who the hell is she?
"Nice to meet you all." She said. Such a booming voice came out of a little girl.
"You look like you're prepared to lift." I said with sass behind it.
"Piper." Tony hissed under his breath.
"I figured I could just organize stuff." She said. "I'm really good at organizing."
"Well, I'm not sure-"
"Seren, you and Piper can head to our room to fix some things while the men lift." Tony said, pulling me off the counter.
"The men? Like including Jaime?" I asked. Jaime laughed at me.
"Just, go." Tony said, pushing me out of the kitchen. He leaned into my ear. "And be nice."

I lead Seren to the room and just started unpacking clothes. The boxes were on the bed, and I started to dig through them.
"Do you have a certain why you hang your clothes?" Seren asked.
"Nope."
"What about folding?"
"Nope."
"Well, where do you put your makeup, I don't see a vanity."
"I put it in the bathroom."
I heard Seren gasp. "In the bathroom? Your eyeliner will get all smudggy."
I looked up. "I'm not a girl, Seren. I put little makeup on and I don't really care what I wear. Like, what, you're wearing a Tiffany's watch and I don't even wear a watch."
Seren covered her wrist. "You know it's Tiffany's?"
"Yeah. All your clothes are expensive, is that a Prada bag?" I said, shoving past her to get to the closest.
"You don't have to be so rude to me, ma'am." She said.
I didn't even bother turning around. "Well, I don't get along with preppy girls. Sorry."
"Well, I'm Vic's girlfriend, so-"
"Well, I'm Tony's girlfriend and I know we're going to be seeing a lot of each other. Just don't rub your wealth in my face."
"Geez, stop being so bitter. Did you know I helped Tony set up for your special surprise?" She said. I paused what I was doing. "Yeah, you didn't know. I didn't even know you and was super nice to you. I was told to be nice to you because you have an attitude and a big mouth, but if you're not going to even bother being nice to me, a person you don't even know, then screw you. I'm going to help the guys."
I sighed. I hate being nice to girls. "Seren, wait." I said.
Seren paused at the door. "Yes, Piper?"
"I'm sorry I was so rude to you, I'm just not very nice to new people. Well, new girls. I've never been a fan of females."
Seren took a few steps forward. She placed her hand on my shoulder. What is she doing?... "It's alright Piper. I'm sorry our first meeting didn't go over so well. I just would like to state that I'm not trying to brag on the fact that I'm wealthy. I grew up in a wealthy family, I'm used to expensive things. I'm sorry if I came off as some snob."
"You did." I said.
She laughed. "I'm sorry. You came off as a bitch."
I laughed. She had a sense of humor. "I know, I am one, but I'm sorry anyway."
"Let's just start over. Hi, I'm Seren. I'm wealthy and girly, and I enjoy reading. I also think we could be really good friends." She said, holding her hand out to me.
I shook my head, then shook her head. "I'm Piper. I'm sassy, bitter, and a bitch, and I'm probably going to be rude to you, but I apologize. And I guess we could be good friends." I said. That's the weird thing about being with Tony. He's so sweet to everyone, and I'm so rude. I don't mean to be, but that's how I've always been. Now, this silly turtle is starting to rub off on me. I actually want to give Seren a chance.
"Nice to meet you, Piper. What size shoes do you wear?"
"Why does that matter?"
"Just answer the question."
"6 1/2. I have really tiny feet."
"You're literally the only person I know who wears the same size shoe as me." She said. I laughed, trying to be nice. "Do you want some shoes? I have a bunch I haven't even worn, and they look like your style. Or I think they are, I'm just judging by your clothes."
I smiled. "I've always wanted some expensive shoes." Seren laughed.
I could actually get along with her.
