PIPER'S POV

I sat at a table of a fancy restaurant with Jacob, Leanna, and Tony. I sipped on my wine as they all talked.
"Yeah, well, we're looking into buying a new car." Jacob said.
"What kind?" Tony asked.
"Well..." Jacob began to say.
"Oh gosh, Tony, now you've got him started!" Leanna said. They all laughed. I stared at all of them, wondering if they actually like Tony or if they were just putting on a front.
"Well, I'm going to excuse myself." Tony said. He turned over to me, then leaned in and kissed my cheek.
I laughed, pushing at his chest. "PDA, yuck." I said, jokingly.
Tony got up and walked away. I watched him as he made his way to the bathroom. When I looked back, Leanna was almost across the table.
I was taken back. "Can I help you?" I asked.
She smiled so big, I felt like the corners of her mouth were going to rip. "So, you really like Tony!" She said.
I shrugged. "He's okay."
"Liar. You like him!"
"Okay, maybe a little bit." I said. Jacob and Leanna gave me a pressuring look. "Ugh, fine, a lot, just stop looking at me like that!"
Leanna laughed and took a sip of her water. That was weird. She drank her water all night, she hadn't even touched her wine. I was about to question her about that when Jacob spoke up. "I just want to say, you guys are welcome. If Vic and I weren't best friends, you may have never met Tony."
I laughed. "Okay, thanks Jacob." I said.
"You don't have to be so sassy!"
"She's always sassy." Tony said, sitting back down. I put my hand on his knee, just because I guess that's what girlfriends do? I'm bad at this, really bad.
"You have a point." Leanna said. She glanced down at her watch. "Well, it's getting late."
I looked at Tony's watch. "Leanna, it's only 10:50." I said.
"Well, it's late for two married people, and there's an episode of Dexter on the DVR that we have to watch so..." Leanna said.
I shook my head. "Weenies." I said.
Tony reached for the check, but Jacob was faster.
"Let me pay!" Tony said.
"No, you two get out of here. Dinner was on us." Jacob said.
"Shut up and give me the check."
Leanna and I both laughed. "No, you two leave! I got this." Jacob said.
Tony sighed. "I'll get it next time." He said, standing up.
"Doubt it." Jacob said.
Tony offered a hand to me, and I took it.

"No, I'm telling you, Thor is way more superior and could totally kick Iron Man's ass." I said as we walked slowly to my studio.
"What, no. Not even. You don't know what you're talking about." Tony said.
"Uh, yes I do. And I'm telling you, I'm right."
Tony laughed. "Okay, Piper Lynn. Whatever you say."
We stood in front of the door. I looked up at Tony, who had his hands in his pockets. This night felt different than others. I wasn't consumed with lust, I was actually enjoying my time with Tony, and I didn't want it to end. I unlocked the door, but we stayed outside.
"Thanks for going out with my sister and brother-in-law." I said softly.
"It was great, I enjoyed it." Tony said, smiling at me.
He stepped closer to me and I felt my stomach fill with butterflies. He leaned down and softly kissed my lips, sending chills through my body. It was one soft kiss, and then he pulled away. I felt my cheeks grow red and I looked at the ground. Wow, this feeling is actually really nice. I looked up at Tony and smiled so big.
"You're so beautiful, Piper." He said. He cupped a hand on my cheek, then leaned in to kiss me again. It was longer, but still as soft and sweet. He pulled away, but his lips lingered near mine.
Then I felt it. And I didn't try to fight it. Then, it happened.
"I love you, Tony." I whispered, my lips still as close to his.
"Oh, thank God you said that first." Tony said, pulling away from my face. "I've wanted to say that for so long but I wasn't sure if-"
I took a step forward and placed a finger on his lip. "I actually mean it, and you should know that coming from me."
Tony moved my hand out of the way by lacing his fingers with mine. "I know, gorgeous." He said, then kissed me again. This time, with passion. So much passion and I could feel how much he loved me. He pushed me against the door, and I fumbled to open the door, not breaking the kiss. He slammed the door shut, his hands on my face, kissing me so deeply. I kicked off my heels and he reached for the zipper on the back of my dress. He pulled away to unzip my dress. I felt his breath on my neck.
"You never said it back." I sighed.
Tony's hand reached the end of the zipper, then ran back up to my shoulders. He stared pushing my sleeves down. "I love you too, so damn much. Just let me show you." His lips collided with mine as I fumbled my hands to his button up shirt and began to unbutton it.
