It's Harder Breathing Next to You
staring at me with your lips and tongue
i woke up the next morning excited as ever, I didn’t even remember when I fell asleep. I skipped breakfast and went out the door ignoring my mum’s questions. I walked up to the school and saw him standing talking with two other guys I did not know. He looked over and waved me over, “Tony! Hey, come here I want you to meet someone.”
I walked over shyly and stood next to Mike as he introduced me to his brother Victor. He looked like Mike but Mike was far more attractive.
“Call me Vic.” He said with a smile.
I smiled,”hey Vic”
Mike was about to introduce the other guy but he took the first punch, “Hi I’m Jaime. Pronounced Hi-Me. Nice to meet you, that’s some pretty sick hair you got there.”
“Thanks!”I responded.
The bell rang and Mike and I headed to Chemistry. We took our usual seats and talked the entire class. When lunch came I joined Mike, Vic and Jaime and we ate and talked and laughed. Jaime was a really funny guy, any moment he could use to make us laugh, he took it and never failed to make us all break into laughter. The day passed quickly again, we stood outside the school and watched Jaime get into a car and wave goodbye at us. I looked at Vic who was sitting on the ground playing with his iPod, I felt Mike grab my pinky with his. It felt right so I just let him.
Vic looked up and saw me and Mike holding pinkies, “um… Tony do you want to come over?”
I was to bust looking into Mike’s eyes to notice Vic and Mike was doing the same.” He shook Mike, “HEY! IM TALKING”
Mike, still attached to me but now with his entire hand warming my palm, “Sorry, what?”
“I was asking if Tony wanted to come over, seeing as… you probably both want to spend more time together anyways.” He said gesturing to our hands holding each other tightly.
Mike looked at me “Do you?”
I blushed and responded with a quick nod.
Mike started pulling me and we followed behind Vic, I assumed we were walking to their house. We walked for about 10 minutes until we finally arrived at an apartment building, after having Mike escort me inside, I realized that the two teenage boys lived alone. Their parents had rented them this 2 bedroom apartment and left it paid off for 2 years, basically this apartment was theirs for the next year and a half seeing as they had already lived there for 6 months. Mike led me to a room where the only thing that occupied it was a drum set a bed and posters.
He sat on the bed and he pulled me close to him. I stood there looking at the most beautiful boy I have ever seen sitting on the bed directly in front of me. I went with my gut and planted a soft kiss on his lips, as I did he put his arms around my waist. We exchanged heat like this for a few seconds then Vic came to the door,
“Hey I don’t mean to interrupt but Star Wars is on in case… you guys want to watch with me or something…” with that he walked away.
Mike looked at me remembering that I had mentioned that my all time favorite movie series is Star Wars, I grinned and he got up and walked to the living room, I followed behind closely. We found Vic sitting on the couch and we joined him, he looked at us and smiled. We sat there and watched the movie until eventually I fell asleep with my head on Mike’s thigh.
