As I walked to my locker after the last bell, I tried not to think about Steph and Tony. Sure, I liked Tony, a lot. But this wasn't the way I wanted them to end. All I wanted was for Tony to be happy, and if he's happiest with Stephanie then so be it. How could Stephanie ruin something like that? Tony loved her, he bragged about her (he never let a day go by without doing one of these things). I hoped this wouldn't hurt him too much, I could't stand to see him sad. I reached my locker, and put my stuff I didn't need in it. When I turned around, I saw Will and Tony walk up to me. "Danni Bananni!!" Tony yelled causing people to stare at him. "Tone Bone!!" I yelled back. He ran up to me (Woah, he ran to me) and gave me a hug. "Dude, air. I need that shit," he let go. "Sorry, I got um carried away," he smiled. "So...um, are you gonna watch Ted and Edgar kick Mike and Jaime's asses?" I asked "Well, I think Jaime and Mike will kick your guy's asses but nope. I'm gonna go check on Steph. You wanna come?" "Umm...I don't--" I started to say, but once I looked up at him and saw how disappointed he was about to look, like an excited kid ready to open Christmas and it turns out he got socks. " Sure, I'll go." "You sure?" he asked me. "Oh course," I perked myself up, "I mean, maybe if she sees I came to check on her, maybe she'll realize that I care and she won't hate me anymore." "That is some good logic, my friend," he pointed out. "Um...what about me? Your loving twin brother." Will whined. "Aww," I rubbed his head," You can stay and watch the game." "Nah, I'll just stay home and make out with Jamie." he said with mischievous smile. "Will, I hate when you do that! Get out off here!" we all laughed and Will gave me a hug and kiss on my forehead. "See ya sis, bye Tony." "See ya bro," "Bye broseph," called Tony as Will headed for the door. "Come on lez go check on your girly friend," I teased. "Shut up, bitch," he smiled. "Whatever asshole," I said playfully punching his gut. We walked outside to his car, seeing Vic, Jaime, Mike, Luke, Ted, and Edgar. They were giving us the look. Ya know, that look your friend gives you when your with your crush. Vic walked up to us,"Where you two going?" "Back to my house to fuck all night!" I said. "Well,use protection. Didn't you hear Tone? I'm pregnant with Jaime's child." "Oh really, whats its name gonna be?" Tony asked. "Whatever it's going to be its name will be Carlos," "Well, good luck with the pregnancy," I said. We walked to Tony's car, and he opened the door for me. "Aww, what a gentleman." I said as I got in. "Shut up.." he started the car, and asked what I wanted to listen to. I took out my iPod and I turned on She by Tyler the Creator and Frank Ocean. I liked weird rap so what. "Naked body, fresh out the shower," I sang dramatically to Tony as he drove," You touch yourself after hours. Ain't no man allowed in your bedroom, you sleepin alone in the bed. Check your window, he's at your window." Tony laughed at me. When Tyler's verse started, I did a bunch of weird moves and shit. Finally Tony slowed down, wow Steph's house really close to the school. He parked in front of the house, and he frowned a little. "Hm, that's weird," he said to himself. "What?" I said turning off the weird song. He pointed to the car in the driveway. "That's not her mom's car," he said. "Is it her's," I asked "She doesn't drive.." This is a whole lot of awkward. He got out the car, and told me to wait. I sat in the car and waited. I really hoped she wouldn't be doing anything. 'Please let that be her cousin or something.' I watched him walk up to her doorstep and she answered the door looking trashy. The kind of trashy where one would quickly try to cleanup but fail. She had on pink lingerie, smeared lipstick, and her blonde hair was wild and unruly. The look on her face was surprise mixed with defeat. She knew she couldn't lie her way out. I couldn't see Tony's face. Just the back of his snap-back and his dark hair. He shook his head and turned around, the look on his face was unbearable. I got out the car and walked to him in the driveway. I gave him a tight hug and he slowly hugged me back. I let go and walked backup to Steph's door. When she answered the door, she had tears in her eyes. What? "Oh are you here to tell me off or something?" she choked out. I couldn't speak,"Look, tell Tony I'm sorry. And you're welcome." "Why am I 'welcome'? Why would I thank you?" She paused for a moment,"I'm out of the way now. Tony's all yours." And with that, she closed the door.
