Queen For A Day

“You did so well!” Cooper grinned as he took my hand and helped my off the stage. The electricity and adrenaline from playing in front of so many people was still pumping though my body. The experience was nothing like I’d ever had before, it was so incredible so see so many people enjoying the music we were playing. I could see how Vic and the guys could do this for a living, it was so amazing.
Jaime ran up and gave me his signature grin. “You’re so good! The kids loved it!”
“Thanks Hime, that was the best thing ever!” I sat down heavily on a chair.
“You get to do that most nights for 2 months now!” He squeezed my shoulder.
“I can’t wait,” I took a few deep breaths to try and calm my racing heart. A hint of concern came over Jaime’s face but it disappeared quickly. He sat down on a chair beside me and we spoke for a few minutes, before he had to go get his bass.
About ten minutes after Cooper and I came off stage Pierce the Veil made their way side stage. Without even having a chance to say a word they ran out, Mike first, then Tony and then Jaime. Vic was last. He fixed the snapback on his head and smiled, before taking a deep breath and running out.
As they started the intro for Hell Above, Cooper came and sat where Jaime had been. “You alright Cali? You look a little pale..” He studied my face.
“I’m fine, just a little tired and overwhelmed from tonight. It’ll get easier as we get more used to it.” I smiled, quickly taring my eyes off Vic to look at Cooper.
“Just tell one of us if you feel like fainting or anything ok? We all care about you.”
“Thanks,” In complete honesty I wasn’t feeling too well, but I really didn’t want to miss any of this. It will probably pass anyways.
I continued to watch Vic. He was such a natural at what he did. He moved about the stage and jumped up and down, playing and singing at the same time. The crowd absolutely adored him. They loved them all. As did I. I was so glad I met them, and had the opportunity to get to be so close with these idiots.
They finished playing Hell Above and Vic quietened the crowd down, by speaking into the microphone.
“Thanks guys for coming out tonight! So great to see you all!” he stepped back and gave the crowd a chance to cheer. “I’d also like to thank the band who’s supporting us this tour. Our good friends Cali and Cooper of This City My Cage!” they crowd cheered even louder. I beamed over at Vic, who winked at me. Cooper reached over and squeezed my hand.
“They really love us Cali,” he said in my ear. The sound of the crowd cheering for us brought me to tears, it was incredible.
“You probably all noticed that Cali is actually pregnant at the moment – six months if I’m correct. Pretty amazing that she’s still willing to do this!” Vic looked like he was going to go on, but with a quick glance my way he didn’t. “Anyways, this song is Carapernalia!”
I dried the tears off my face and leaned on Cooper’s shoulder.
“You ok?” he asked, concern in his voice.
“Yes, I’m just tired.” I closed my eyes and sighed.
“I’ll take you back to the bus ok?”
I nodded groggily and Cooper helped me to my feet, taking my hand, and he lead me back to the bus.

This is barely even a proper chapter, I just didn't really want to fit it in in the previous chapter for some reason?

So I've been working it all out, and it seems that this story will only have around 45 chapters by the time it's all uploaded. Hope you're all ready for what I have to come.
