When her best friend signed her up for a competition to spend a day with Pierce the Veil, Cali was not expecting her entire life to change forever......

"“Cally Hill?” Someone called. I groaned. Why did my parents give me a name that is so hard to read?
“Yeah, and it’s Cali,” I said standing up, “Said like C A R L Y.”
“Oh,” The man looked down at his clipboard then back up at me, “Ok, well it’s your turn now Cali,”
I picked up my guitar and reached down to squeeze Fay’s hand, “Wish me luck!”
“Say hi to them for me,” Fay winked playfully.
I laughed and followed the man through a door and down a dark little hallway.
“Alright, now, your track has been plugged in already, the guys and a few other people will be watching you play and please there’s no real need to talk much.” The man said, sounding slightly bored and tired.
“Ok, thank you,”
And that’s when the door opened.
I turned around and realized immediately who it was. Victor Fuentes. In person. Right in front of me. I felt like throwing up. Fuck he was right in front of me, staring at me. Someone needs to say something. Like now.
“Vic,” I squeaked."
