The Start of A New Day
Jaime's POV
Nice move Hime. Should've just made nice conversation, said sorry, anything but that. Of course she wouldn't trust me.
"why are you thinking so hard?" Tony said bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Just Alexis. She hates me because I've been such a stupid ass." I sighed.
"She'll come around. Just giver her time and try to prove to her that you aren't a stupid asshole."
"Yeah, I guess." I sighed and left."
Hopefully Alexis and I can be friends.
The Next Day.
Alexis' POV
“Hey Tony, What are your plans for today?” I asked sitting next to him.
“Just hanging out with the guys, why what’s up?”
“Well I made a doctors appointment and I was wondering if you would go with me?”
“Yeah, of course just let me call the guys and tell them that I’ll be a few hours late.”
I’m so thankful that Tony is coming with me, not just because I absolutely hate, well more like scared of, doctors and and need the emotional support, but I really feel like getting information directly from the doctor would be greatly beneficial.
After a long wait we finally got to see the doctor and to say the least I was nervous as fuck
“Alright Alexis, what brings you here today?” She asked.
“Well uhm” I stuttered and looked at Tony for help.
“My sister just got out of a toxic relationship and during it, she ended up with an eating disorder. I believe,and she really wants to get better we just aren’t sure how to help her get where she needs to be doc.”
“Hmm, is this true?” She asked looking at me concerned.
“Yes ma’am. I thought that me just eating more would be fine. But I just end up getting sick. It really sucks, because I want nothing more than to get better and for my life to go back to normal.’’
“Hm, I see.” She nodded, “I will be right back, and don’t worry I’m just going to go grab some paperwork for you.” She smiled.
A few minutes later she returned with a bunch of paperwork, and began explaining to Tony and I how increasing my food intake so drastically could potentially do more harm than good, before giving me a meal plan and giving us an example of a schedule that would work for me.
“Alright, if you have any questions, feel free to call, and how about we schedule another appointment in a week to see how your doing and to make the right adjustments.”
“Sounds good, thank you doctor.” Tony said as we walked out.
We made a quick stop at the grocery store and picked up a bunch of food, before heading home and being met with 3 idiots.
“Heyyyyy there you guys are, we’ve been waiting for hours, don’t you know how to answer your phone Tone?” Mike said while stuffing his face.
“Mikey why don’t you give us a hand with the groceries instead of stuffing your face, huh?” I said as I grabbed the chips out of his hands.
“Ughhhhh fine.”
“Why did you guys by so much anyways?” Vic said
“Uhm..” I panicked and looked to Tony.
“Because you guys are always eating all my food.”
“Touché”
