Wonderless

Sleep. Blissful sleep. Something I haven't gotten in 2 years. I finally have gotten more than 3 hours tonight. Something's wrong. I shot up in bed and looked over at Mike's sleeping body. He looks so peaceful. I pull the sheets away from my body and get up. I stuff my feet into my slippers that Alex got me for Christmas and put on the silk robe laying next to the bed. I rush out of our bedroom and down the hallway into their room. I rush over to the crib. Victor is sleeping just a peacefully as his father is. I turn around and Alexandria is fussing in her bed. Nightmare. I walked over and sit on the edge of her bed and rub her back until she calms down in her sleep and she isn't moving anymore. I kiss her forehead and get up, closing their door behind me as I go back to our room. I take the slippers and robe off and slide back into bed. When I looked over at Mike, he was laying there staring at me. I smiled at him.

"Hey baby." I whisper and snuggle closer to him. He smiled and wrapped an arm around me.

"Hola mi amor. Why are you up?"

"Alex was having a nightmare, so I went in to go help her out." Mike gave me a weird look.

"I didn't hear her crying or yelling for one of us."

"That's because she didn't. I just had a feeling that something was happening and I was right." Mike smiled at me and kissed my nose. I smiled at his touch and got closer to where I could give him a kiss goodnight and I was asleep once again.

Hey guys. I'm sorry that it's been about a year since I last wrote on this story. My computer could never get internet and then I just got a new computer last night. I'm not going to be able to update as much as I used to, because I have nerve damage in my elbows and I have to take lots of breaks when I am typing.
