Soft snores filled my ears, I opened an eye to see dawn cuddled neatly on my chest, mouth to ear. Mike lay next to me arm wrapped around dawn and I. A smile crossed my features as memories of last night filled my mind. It finally happened the happiness that I had longed for, I finally had it, it was mine.
"Well someone looks happy." Mike whispered sleepily in my ear placing a kiss on my head. I smiled leaning in closer to his body,
" well your right thanks to you and little miss here." I spoke turning to him.
I leaned closer our lips meeting one another for a short kiss.
Dawn began to stir, her tiny hands went up to here eyes rubbing them fiercely, "whas time it?" She spoke sleep still evident in her voice. I picked up my phone with my available hand, "It's 10 in the morning babe." Dawn nodded slightly burying herself deeper into my neck.
"is da here?"
I nodded my head answering her question, her tiny head shot up from the crook of my neck to look around, as soon as her eyes landed on those of her fathers she latched herself onto him.
"dadde still here, yay, dadde arr yew stay foreber?" Dawn questioned her doe eyes appearing. Mike chuckled kissing his daughters head, "forever baby, I promise." Dawn cheeres hugging her father tight, well as tight as she could manage. "Dadde can we has pancake?"
Mike nodded once more, "Course baby how about you go get the ingredients out?" Dawns eyes lit up as she slid off her father her little feet carrying her to the kitchen. Mike turned to me all this seemed so unreal.
"you okay em, you seem bothered." Mike spoke turning to face me fully. I turned to face him, my eyes focused on his,
"is this real Mike, like am I dreaming, what happened to alysha.." Mike closed his eyes sucking in a breath, before opening them to stare at me again, "Em believe me this is all real, I swear I meant everything I said last night and as for alysha I'm done what she did made me realize a lot of things."
"but the wedding and everything how could you just drop it all." I questioned.
Mikes face turned hard for a minute, "I had reasons."

*Flashback*
Mike's P.o.v.
I stood in shock at the scene before me, em walking away angrily, dawn screaming, kicking, crying, alysha stood slightly bent over chuckles coming from her pink lips.
"no dadde no!" The words vibrated through the hollow building vibrating through my ears.
"good riddance she finally got a clue, I guess you really have to hurt her for her to get a clue." She chuckled. Vic sighed "really alysha, have some respect." He spoke shaking his head before walking away.
Alysha turned to me placing her hand on my chest looking up at me, "well at least she won't be a problem anymore and neither will that little girl of hers."
I looked down to her anger coarsing through my veins, "why would MY little girl have been a problem she's my daughter alysha, and em is her mother." I spoke my voice rising. Alysha leaned back staring up at me in awe, "your not serious Mike, you can't possibly be serious, why do you still care for her, she's nothing, fine dawns you daughter whatever, but her you yourself told me she would never be anything to you, you always wanted better anyway." She spoke smirking. My face fell, "that's not true Em's the one that deserves better, she's put up with me and my shit and she still manages to take of OUR daughter." She scoffed, rolling her eyes, "please Mike why the sudden change of heart huh, what did you finally open you eyes that this girl is in love with you." Then something clicked memories of highschool, birthdays, Christmas, and every memory that I had shared with em filled my mind.
"actually yeah, yeah alysha I guess I finally opened my eyes, I finally see the love she has for me." i spoke.
"excuse me you can't be serious Mike, were supposed to get married In a week!" She yelled smacking my chest.
"the weddings off alysha, I'm sorry but I should have seen the signs listened to the words of my brothers and my daughter, most importantly of Em's ."
A stinging pain shot through my face as alysha'a hand met my cheek.
"fuck you Mike go have fun with your whore and her daughter." She yelled turning as she stocked off. I rubbed my cheek looking down at my watch. My eyes widened, I ran.
*Flashback ends*

I stared at mike his eyes glistened with tears, " it took her words and a slap to face for me to realize what I would lose if I didn't take the chance and come for you and dawn." I smiled tears starting to pool in my eyes, I rested my hand on mikes cheek pulling myself closer to his body, "it's better late than never." I placed my lips on his holding his cheek tight as his calloused hands pulled me closer to his naked torso.
"Dadde I wan pancake now, ewwww cooties!" Dawn screeched. Mike and I pulled apart looking to our daughter, dawn stood mouth open, hand on her hip.
"coming princess." Mike replied sitting up.
"Hurry dadde I hungry see." Dawn spoke lifting her spoke to show us her belly. Mike and I laughed, dawn giggling as well. Mike leaned down quickly placing a kiss on my forehead his lips lingering, "I love you Emma."
I smiled looking up, "love you too fuentes."
Mike smirked, "touché mrs. Fuentes."
I raised a brow at the man, "dadde hurry!" Dawn yelled once more.
"Mike.." I questioned he chuckled getting up,
"coming Princess." he turned winking at me before exiting the room.

Sorry for the delay work and school has me just so stressed out :(. Alas here is another chapter, so the next one might be the last chapter which would be the epilogue I'll make it long though for you guys cause I love Jew allll so much! Besitos. So let me know your thoughts and what not :3
