I awoke to the sound of my phone ringing, this tune something all too new. The tone of an incoming Skype call sounded from my phone. I sat up leaning over for my phone, I rubbed my eyes of the lingering sleep accepting the call. I brought the phone before me, my eyes teared up as I saw who was before me on the screen. Dawn sat neatly on her fathers lap toothy grin appearant on her face.
"momma hi momma!" Dawn exclaimed waving her tiny hands. I brought my hand to wipe under my eyes a smile making its way onto my face.
"hey baby doll it's so good to see you.. Hey mike." I replied waving to the two. Dawn clapped her hands together swinging slightly on her father, Mike smiled a bit sending me a wave.
"momma ar you gon come back I miss you."
I sent a half smile to my daughter releasing a bit of air, "soon baby your almost coming back home to do one more show then your all mine!"
Dawn squealed cuddling into her father earning a chuckle from us both. It went quiet as mine and dawn focused their attention to something off screen.
alyshas voice sounded on the other end, "Mike what did I say, leave dawn to speak to her mother you need to help me plan the wedding. Dawn looked to her father a pout appearant on her face, Mike placed a kiss on her head before standing and sitting her back down. A door slammed and dawn turned to the screen pout noticeable, she rested her head in her hands staring at me.
"Alysha is bean mean to dadde momma she say he can no talk no more to yew."
I raised a brow at the confession my daughter gave, "did she now, are you positive baby girl."
"yes momma i herd her thru the door she tol dadde that he can no talk with yew that is only bout her." Dawn exasperated. I half smiled at my daughter, "maybe it's for the best baby maybe it's for the best.
My daughter then let out a huff, "no momma dadde need to be with us we love him and he love us he need be with us he supposed to be family with us." Dawn spoke gestering with her hands.
"I miss you baby, I really do i swear I'll see you soon and this will all fix."
"momma"
"yes baby?" I questioned. Dawn leaned closer to the screen her face taking over.

"do you hate dadde cause he not marrying you."
I shook my head at my daughter cracking a smile, "of course not baby, the thing is I could never hate your daddy babe, momma just needs to find someone who lovers her back."
Dawn looked down a questioning glance coming over features, "buh dadde does love yew momma, he would marry yew too." She spoke. At that moment I wish I hadn't left I wishd things hadn't been so difficult, more than anything I wanted to squeeze my daughter to me.
"you have to understand bubs your dad is happy with alysha, in another world maybe your father would love me and maybe we would be married, but not this world."
"woul you marry dadde momma?" Dawn questioned. My daughter smirked almost as if she knew what my answer would be.
"of course baby in this world in another world it will always be you and your dad, but anyway baby I think it's time for me to go say hi to your tios for me and let your uncle vic know I'm okay I'll be seeing you very soon baby I love you."
Dawn sat up smiling widely blowing me air kisses, "love you momma see you soon!"
I waved once more at my daughter before the screen went black.
*mikes p.o.v.*
My daughter turned to me toothy grin evident on her small face.
"tol you dadde."
