Aria’s p.o.v

“Austin.” Mike echoed
“What’s wrong?” I asked, baffled by his response
“Nothing. What’s up with Austin?”
“It just pisses me off that he suddenly come back and wants to play happy families.”
“Look, you lost Paige. So did Austin. Clearly it took it hard and reacted in a crappy way but don’t you think he deserves a second chance? He’s your brother. You won’t ever get another Austin. I think you should be more grateful of what you’ve got.”
With that Mike stormed out of the room to go and sit with everybody else.
Tears were rolling down my cheeks. I was hurt by everything he said but the worst part was that he was right. However, I couldn’t be here right now. I needed to think things through. Quickly, I crept through the kitchen and out of the back door. As soon as I was out, I ran. Unsure of where I was going, I just ran ahead until I ended up at the old skate park. It was always the same place.

Mike’s p.o.v

We all sit in the lounge area, laughing and watching a film. My mind kept thinking back to what I said to Aria. Maybe I as to harsh. She hadn’t come into the room and it had been about 30 minutes since I talked to her. Honestly, I didn’t want to hurt her, I just snapped. She wanted Austin out but he’s her only brother from what I’m aware. I preparing myself to give up everything just to save Vic. I just thought that that would be an eye opener for her.
“Hey, where’s Aria?” Austin snapped me out of my thoughts
“I dunno, I spoke to her like 30 minutes ago but haven’t seen her since.” I mumbled
“I’ll go check her room.” Austin responded
Around 2 minutes later, Austin burst back into the room.
“She’s not in the house! We’ve gotta find her!” Austin exclaimed
“Shit.” I muttered under my breath, only Vic seemed to hear me
Everybody poured out of the house and headed in different directions. Before I could go, Vic slammed me up against the side of the house.
“What did you do?” He questioned
“What did you mean what did I do?” I snapped
“Don’t bullshit me, Mike. You haven’t looked so guilty since you broke Mom’s vase!”
I sighed. “I snapped at her…”
“Again?”
“Jesus Vic, I don’t make a habit out of it. Basically, she was complaining about Austin and I kind of freaked at her. I told her to be more grateful…”
“Mike, the relationship between her and Austin is completely different to ours.”
“I know… It’s just maybe he deserves a second chance. It could make them both happier. Seriously Vic, I didn’t mean to hurt her: I never do. I really care about her, I just don’t know how to show her properly.”
“You love her.”
“What!? No, that is not what I said!”
“You didn’t have to, Mike.” He smirked

Aria’s p.o.v

Shivering, I curled into my jacket trying to keep warm. Austin loves me, I know that. Maybe Mike was right, he didn’t know how to handle himself at the time of Paige’s death so he left. It wasn’t the best decision yet who am I to judge? I’m running from my problems now: it’s not the first time, either.
Suddenly, a figure appeared out of the shadows and began walking towards. Anxiously, I tried to make myself smaller, as the person got closer.
“I knew I’d find you here…”
