Perfect, Except...

Tony and Abigail have been dating for a month now and Tony and I barely hang out. I've lost him. No... The only person I could trust with my life. Is this what Abigail wanted? To have him all to herself? So that Tony has no friends? So that Tony revolves around Abigail?

I'm staying in a cabin alone. No internet, no service, no people, nothing. I've stayed here for a month. It's summer, so that's okay. Tony probably doesn't even miss me. He's having so much fun with Abigail. All I have is my radio player (and clothes, toothbrush, phone + charger, food, water, etc.). It was time to drive home tomorrow. I walked into the house and Tony was in the kitchen. He ran straight up to me and hugged me hard and long.
"I've missed you," he said.
"I missed you too Tony."
"You were gone for so long."
I pulled out of the hug.
"We need to talk."
He looked me in the eyes and said "Okay."
He drove us to the bridge and we sat down.
"Okay, tell me."
"Promise me you won't get mad?"
"Promise."
"It's Abigail," I started. "She doesn't like me. She pushed me down the stairs. She called me a slut. She made me almost..."
"Almost what?"
"Kill myself."
"Oh Bri..."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you I didn't want you to worry about me."
"Bri..."
"Also..." I lifted my sleeves. Tony gasped. He started crying. I started crying. "I'm sorry Tony, I just... couldn't handle it, I needed to."
He cried more. More than I've ever seen him cry. After he had recollected himself he asked me
"Do you love me?"
"Uhm..uh...yeah I do..."
"Then kiss me."
I leaned in and so did he and our lips moved in sync. Holy crap. I just kissed my best friend.
"Do you love me?" I asked.
"I do love you Brianne, I do."
"I didn't think you did..."
"I do though. Come on let's go home."
We drove him in awkwardness and complete silence. Yes, Tony and I slept together. He also asked me to be his girlfriend and I said...yes. I'm dating my best friend.
