Fast times at Clairemont High

It's been a month since I told Vic I wanted to be just friends, he took it surprisingly well. Pretty much every night since then we've talked on the phone, and not for like a couple minutes, but for hours on end. He's a really good friend, I'm glad were still friends and it's not like super awkward between us.

We hang out all the time too, like as often as we can. This is what I wanted, to actually get to know him before we started anything serious.

Halloween is coming up soon, Kellin wants to go to a party but I'd rather just stay at home. My mom is always out of town for who new job so who knows if she's gonna be home. Probably not Halloween is three days from now and she's still out of town. So that would leave me to hand out the candy.

I'm so glad Halloween lands on a Saturday, I hate it when it's on Monday or any other day. This way I get to sleep in from and recover from my candy hang over. I think Halloween has to be my all time favorite holiday. I get to dress up and go out and get free candy, I can't really go out anymore with out getting rude looks from the people handing out candy. Like I'm too old to be trick or treating, well bitch I didn't ask for your opinion just give me my candy and I'll be on my way.

I decided I should call Vic and see if he wanted to come over on Halloween, I got out my phone and dialed his number.

"Hey" He said answering his phone almost immediately.

"Hey what are you doing this Saturday?" I asked.

"Well Mike invited me to a Halloween party but I'm not really feeling it why?" He said.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over and hand out candy with me and maybe sleep over?" I asked unsure of what he would say.

"Yeah sure that sounds fun!" He replied.

"Sick! We can have a scary movie marathon!" I said excited for Saturday.

"Yeah we can!"

"Well I'll see you at school?" I asked, asking questions is all I seem to do I thought laughing in my head.

"Yeah definitely" He said, we said our good byes then hung up. I went to the bathroom and had a shower, got dressed. Just because it's October does not mean I can't wear shorts.

After getting ready I walked to school, as I was walking through the doors I seen Austin.

"Hey babe" He said with a wink,

"What do you want?" I said rolling my eyes.

"Well I was just wondering if your phones broken or something?" He asked walking beside me down the hall.

"No?" I said looking at him confused, I looked at it and it was perfectly fine.

"Oh well I haven't got a text or call from you so I wasn't sure if your phone broke" He said.

"Nope my phones perfectly fine" I said when we reached my locker.

"Well maybe we should hang out?" Austin said leaning against my locker.

"Maybe" I said putting in the combo.

"Why don't you like me?" Austin said when I opened my locker.

"Who said I don't like you?" I said with a shrug.

He went in between me and the locker and shut the door.

"Well do you?" He asked leaning in closer to me. I leaned in really close to him so our faces were just centimeters away from each other and whispered "Not really."

Don't get me wrong Austin is super cute and all but I don't know if he's my type or if I'm even his.

"C'mon everyone likes me!" Austin said.

"Obviously not everyone, now can you please move?" I asked

"Not till you say you like" Austin said holding his ground not budging.

"Fine, I like you. Can you move now?" I said pushing him out of the way.

"I knew you liked me! Well text me later! I have to go" Austin said practically skipping down the halls.

After school me and Vic were hanging out at my place, watching a movie. I decided to text Austin, at first it was just small talk, but some how (I have no idea how it started) he started saying a bunch of cheesy pick up lines.

I started laughing at Austins funny pick ups, Vic just stared at me like I was on herion, but I didn't care I just kept laughing. Austin isn't

I was laughing so hard I almost peed.

"What's so funny?" Vic asked trying to look at what was on my phone.

"Nothing" I said trying to hide my phone.
