The Night Can Be Deadly

I turned to my side and tapped on the nearest person. It turned out to be Justin. "We need to leave now." I eyed upstairs where he was. His eyes trailed to where he was and his blue eyes went wide. "EVERYONE GET MOVING NOW!!!!!" he screeched grabbing Lindsey's hand. The rest of the group shot up before squirming their way to us. They all looked scared and asked, "What's wrong?!" I then looked up and pointed to Jesse. He had some kind of crazy look in his eyes. His hair was all in tangles and blood was smeared across his face. Let's hope the blood was a Geek's.

There was no way out. The only way would be killing all of the Geeks. So I decided to try my best to kill them. A knife to the head...maybe to the neck and bam bam bam...the majority was gone. Fuck! Justin saw what I was trying to do and helped me also. It took forever just to kill that herd but when we did, they all dropped to the ground and we were left with the most dangerous one of all, Jesse. With one sly smirk, he climbed down the railing before walking my way. When he was too close, I backed away because he reeked of dead and guts and blood.

He reached into his pocket and my hand went straight to my gun strapped to my hip. His chuckle made me want to vomit. But when he pulled out a necklace..I was about to lose it. This was no ordinary necklace. It was Iris's. It was just a necklace with one of my picks. I gave it to her when we first started dating. She never...ever took it off. I had a feeling Jesse had some sick, twisted story in his head about how he got it. And boy was I right. "See that necklace. It was from your little girlfriend. I found her..at the school. In order to retrieve that necklace do any of you wanna guess what I did?"

My stomach started to twist into knots as he spoke. "Hmmm. Fine, I killed her." He smirks. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" I screech before lunging forward. But I didn't tackle Jesse. Instead, Mike lunged forward and grabbed me before we both hit the floor in a jumble. "He's not worth it." Mike whispered viciously. I could see the anger towards Jesse in his eyes and thick in his voice. My breathing was heavy and suddenly I was panting. I tried to pry away from Mike's grasp but he hugged too tight. "Let me go Michael." I growl. "I won't. You're gonna kill him! As much as he deserves it...I can't let you do that. Let the Geeks get him."

"Huh...just like the Geeks got Iris." Jesse says rubbing his chin and laughing sickly. That was all it took to set me off. Suddenly, I was stronger than Mike. And I was able to tear him off of me. With one loud screech of anger, I lunged onto Jesse, knocking him to the floor. There were shouts, screams, yells, cries, but all I heard was the pain I was putting Jesse in as I squeezed his throat shut. "Where the fuck is she Jesse?" I ask through clenched teeth as I closed in much more. "At...at the school. The one you guys went to." He says gasping for air. "VIC LET GO!!!!" I hear Tony yell. So I do. But when I do, I lift up my foot and when I'm about stomp his face in, I roll my eyes and put it down.

"I wouldn't want to ruin my Vans." I say before spitting in his face and stalking off, the silent group following quickly after. I left the mall quickly before any Geek could grasp onto me. My main target was to the school which wasn't that far from here. "Vic...Vic!!!" Someone calls jogging up to me. I really don't give a shit about who it was. All I really cared about was Iris right now. I know, I sound horrible but it's true. "VIC!!!!" Someone grabs my shoulder, stopping me. I turn around and Kellin stands there. "You know if Jesse was telling the truth then I don't think you'd want to see this." He says his voice wavering. Tears were already glossing his eyes.

Who wouldn't?! I mean, they were told that their sister was killed. All you can do right now apparently, is believe it. "Kellin, I know you don't want to see this but I do. I need to know if he's lying or not." I say softly before turning away from him and walking forward. The minutes become slower as I walk to the school, and my heart drops when I see the school in sight. But it wasn't the school. No, it was my worst nightmare. The school was surrounded by Geeks.

Scratching at the doors, growling, or just basically lurking around the school. "Vic...we- " "No, I am. No one is stopping me." I breathe in deeply before running in with no hesitation. They called after me, but I didn't care.

I needed to see her. I really didn't care if i got bit or eaten either. As long as I find my precious Iris. My sweet precious Iris. But I must remember, this may be a moment I will never forget.
