Savannah's POV~

Tony walked me out of the room and told me that he was going to say goodbye to Mike. I knew what he meant, and I nodded in approval. He smiled and kissed my cheek, and I began to walk towards my dads. I quickly detoured when I saw that they were making out around the corner. God, parents are so gross sometimes!

I decided to explore a bit before I interrupted Vic and Jaime's mini makeout session to get them to sign me out. As I was wandering about, I stumbled upon the "healing garden", and I decided to rest out there. I sat on a bench next to one of the small trees that were scattered about my garden, and took out my phone to check Tumblr. This was the first time I'd checked any of my social media networks since I was adopted by Jaime, and my notifications were blowing up.

I had 1,000+ new followers on Tumblr and 2,000+ on both Instagram and Twitter. I rolled my eyes knowing that they were all just fans, and that probably none of them were actually interested in me as a non-famous person.

I heard voices on the other side of the tree, and my curiosity willed me to peek around the side. I saw Mike and Tony standing a few feet away from me, and I know this is wrong, but I wanted to eavesdrop.

"Are we all good now?" I heard one of them ask, and Mike nodded and turned to walk away, but Tony grabbed his hand to stop him. They looked into each other's eyes for a while, and Tony leaned in and kissed him softly. The girlfriend (am I even that?) in me wanted to scream and push them apart, but the fangirl and friend in me refused. Instead, I took a picture of them, and then Tony pulled away. I was a little afraid he'd heard the shutter sound on my camera, but he whispered something softly to Mike, and I could practically see Mike's heart break all over again as Tony turned to leave.

Once the coast was clear, I walked slowly over to Mike, who was now sitting on one of the other benches with his head in his hands. I rubbed his back softly and he looked up, trying to hide the tears that had been flooding his face moments earlier. "Don't worry, I'm not going to kiss you again," I said, smiling and attempting to lighten the mood. He laughed a little and finished drying up his tears.

He gave me a very convincing smile, and I pretended that I couldn't see right through it, because I know he needed to be alone for a while. "Mikey, you know that I really do love you, but I love you like the brother I used to have. You will always be really close to me, and anytime you need to talk to someone, you have me, okay? Even when Vic doesn't want to talk, I will talk to you, okay?" I assured him, and he nodded and looked back down. I lifted his chin slightly so he was looking me directly in the eyes. "Michael, I mean it. I really do love you," I said. "I love you too, Savannah," he replied softly.

With that, I left to go find Tony.

*Later that day, at home*

Tony's POV~

It was Mike's turn to cook tonight, and that meant Savannah and I were on dish duty. I had just finished setting the table and had plopped down on the couch, when I heard Savannah scream from the backyard. Worried that she might be hurt, I ran out there as fast as I possibly could. When I got out the back door, I saw why she'd screamed; Jaime and Vic had pushed her into the ice cold pool, and were playfully taunting her. She looked at me, and nodded her head backwards. I got the message and winked in return. As she climbed out of the water, I ran quietly around the pool and positioned myself behind the couple, who were now doing a victory smooch. I laughed loudly enough to startle them, as I jumped up and pushed them both in. I tried to get away, but as Jaime fell, he grabbed onto my shirt and took me down with him.

I went under the freezing water and came up sputtering as the others laughed at me. I noticed Savannah was taking pictures, so I flipped off the camera. "Gladly!" she yelled from behind her phone, and I pretended to be shocked. She rolled her eyes and attempted to help me out of the pool, but instead I just pulled her in with me. I was laughing hysterically when she came back up for air, and she took that as an opportunity to pounce on me. It startled me a bit, and I almost fell over, but I caught her, and spun her around in the water.

We were laughing at each other, but when we made eye contact, it was as if everything went silent, and the world started moving in slow motion. I took that opportunity to take in every delicate detail of her beautiful face. I looked into her sparkling eyes, and it was as if time slowed even more, and I saw everything that had ever happened to her. I saw the hurt, the pain, the sadness, but I also saw the joy, the laughter, and the pure excitement from every moment of her seventeen year-old life. With every detail I took in, she became more and more glorious, and I was absolutely intrigued with her. Her smile shone into the waxing darkness like the light of a million stars on a clear night, her skin was glowing with youth and a beauty like no other. As we spun in circles, I inched closer and closer to this bewitchingly gorgeous girl, until our lips collided. Time stopped at this moment, and I bathed in the pure happiness that overcame the very depth of my being.

I was truly happy, for maybe the first time in my life. But of course, all good things must come to an end, no matter how hard you try to make them last.

Wow, just got poetic up in here. Anyways, this is a kind of long chapter, but I am kind of really proud of it, so please don't shoot me down lol /.\ Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed the update, blah blah lol and uhm depending on how I feel and if I can actually get to sleep tonight or not I may update again tonight. n.n
