The Forgotten Fuentes

Alli's POV~

When I saw the sonogram, my face lit up. I looked over at Vic, who had one eyebrow raised in confusion. "Viccy, come here babe," I said, and he obeyed. He walked over and held onto my hand.

Dr. Lee smiled too, then she spoke. 'Well, it seems that you have both a little boy and a little girl on the way!"

Vic's mouth dropped open, then his lips spread into a bright smile. "You....you mean...twins?!" he asked, and the doctor and I nodded. "Congratulations you two," Dr. Lee said, and she and Vic helped me off of the cot. "Any other questions before you leave?" she asked, and I shook my head. "Okay then, I'll see the two of you next time!" She smiled and left the room, and we followed suit.

On the way back home, Vic couldn't stop smiling. When we were almost home, my smile faltered a little, and I was hoping he wouldn't notice. But being the attentive husband that he is, he did.

"Baby? What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" he asked, turning to look breifly at me. I shook my head. "It's nothing honey," I said, and he sighed. "Alli-bear, you know that I know you better than that. What's upsetting you?" he persisted.

"I just...twins...it reminds me of my sisters. And I don't...it just makes me a little sad. That's all. I'll get over it though, everything's okay," I said. I left out the more selfish part of what's been on my mind; when I graduated, I had gotten accepted to a college back in San Diego, and I just don't know how-or if- I'm going to be able to go and get my degree with not one, but two kids.

"I understand, honey. It'll get easier though, I'm sure that when you see our little son and daughter that you'll be okay," he smiled reassuringly. I nodded my head and looked out the window as we pulled up in the driveway. Everyone rushed outside just as we pulled up.

"Who was right? What are you having?!" Mike asked excitedly. I laughed a bit. "Well, apparently there was only one person who guessed correctly and that was Tony! We're having twins, both a boy and a girl!" I exclaimed, and everyone cheered, and Tony smirked.

We went inside the house and had a quick lunch, then Vic and I decided to go baby shopping. We'd already cleared out the game room and started to make it into a nursery, so we needed to buy two cribs and some decorations.

We headed out around 2pm and didn't come back until 9. When we came back, we had acquired two cribs, three onesies for each baby, some monkey decorations for the boy's side of the nursery, and some tiger decorations for the girl's side.

After putting everything away, I walked into the living room and sat on the couch, while Vic got a shower.

I turned on the TV and switched it to Star Wars, which was one of my favorite films. Tony came out of nowhere and jumped on the couch next to me. "You were trying to watch Star Wars without me?! Not cool, Alli," he said, shaking his head in mock disappointment. I rolled my eyes and laughed, then turned my attention towards the screen.

About twenty minutes later, Jaime and a rather sexy, shirtless Vic joined us. Jaime and Tony moved to the floor and Vic sat on the couch next to me. He put his arm around me, and I cuddled up into his side. For some reason, I felt really sad and started to cry. Damn these hormones.

Vic noticed I was crying, so he stood me up and walked me to the bedroom, where we cuddled up under the blankets on our bed. I yawned, and Vic smiled. "You're so beautiful, Ariella," he whispered and I felt myself blush. I smiled and he kissed my forehead. "Viccy, will you sing to me?" I asked innocently, and he smiled again. "Of course, love."

He started to sing and I felt my eyes getting heavy. He rubbed my back as he sang, and I eventually dosed off.

Man, you guys are either super good at guessing, or I'm just really predictable cx Anyways, I hope you like the chapter! :D It's moving a bit slow, but it'll pick back up! Also, the lyrics at the end of this chapter are from a song I've been working on for a while, so sorry if they suck a bit xc
