Drown Me in the Flames

He knows? How? What? I brushed of that thought. Jaime picked me up at exactly 4.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey," he smiled. Oh my god his perfect smile. "How was it?"
"Fine, it sucked, as usual," I laughed.
"Haha, it'll get better," he said as I put on my playlist. I'm the Secret played. My eyes widened. "You really like my side project?"
"Like? Have you heard your voice? It's angelic!"
He laughed.
We got home and I threw myself on his bed because, I don't know. His blankets are comfier than mine. I snuggled in his blankets and closed my eyes.
"You're so beautiful," he said. I popped open my eyes to see Jaime laying in bed next to me under the covers. I smiled.
"Everyone says that but I hate what I see in the mirror. If there's one thing I like about my body, it's my eyes. I think it's cool that you can see the soul through the eyes."
Jaime looked at me. His eyes were beautiful, with that twinkle. I could stare into his eyes all day. He reached out his hand and started playing with my hair. He knows for sure.

~Jaime's point of view, 1 month later~
I woke up and rushed out of bed to get Danielle to school but then I remembered it was a Saturday. I sighed and took my shower. After my hair was dry, I straightened it. I walked downstairs and saw Danielle sitting at the table drinking something.
"Morning," I said.
"Hey," she turned around and smiled.
"Anything planned for today?"
She shook her head.
"Well, do you wanna catch a movie together?"
She looked at me with complete surprise.
"Are you asking me out on a d-date?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Oh, okay! What time?"
"Whenever you want,"
"Okay,"
I was shaking so much, I was so nervous.
"Is 2:00 okay?"
"Yeah," It was already 10:00 so I only had 4 hours to do stuff before our date. I picked out an outfit with Tony's help.
"I like this top with those jeans," he said holding up a dark blue shirt and a pair of Key Street pants. Of course Key Street pants.
"Thanks Tone,"
"No problem!" Tony said and went somewhere.
2:00 rolled around and we were at the theaters.
"What movie do you wanna watch?" I asked.
"Anything really,"
"Okay," I said. "Two for Pitch Perfect," I handed the cashier the money. She gave me the change and the tickets. "Thanks," I said. We proceeded to get the popcorn and drinks and stuff and finally walked to the room and sat down. We enjoyed the movie and when the final performance happened. She looked at me and I could feel her looking at me. I looked at her. I started leaning in and put my hand on her face. I could feel her crying slightly. I wiped away the tear. I leaned in and closed my eyes. Our lips locked. Finally, I thought. This is what I was missing in my life.
~Danielle's point of view~
Jaime. Kissed. Me! I felt myself smiling after the kiss. It felt so right. I honestly didn't care about being hurt anymore, I'm happy. I laid my head down on his shoulder. The movie ended and we were soon walking back to the car. We were holding hands and it was so... right. He opened the car door for me.
"Thanks," I said and clmibed in. Jaime got in and we started driving. I put on my playlist and Kiss Me Again played. Well, this is awkward. I'm not going to lie, I liked the kiss. It feels like I've found where I need to be in life. This is my mental, emotional, physical and literal home.
Jaime drove us to the beach and we laid down on the sand. I really like Jaime. A lot.
"Danielle?" he asked.
"Yes?" I said turning to him.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
I'm exploding on the inside. "Of course!" I said.
We sat up and talked about life and tour and random shit. He drove us home and before we knew it, I was in bed with Jaime.
"Goodnight Jaime,"
"Goodnight Danielle,"
