There's Hell Over Me

Amelie's POV

Scarlett and Mike walk in, holding hands. They look like a couple. I really liked Mike, I thought we had some connection but obviously not, I mean, if he's Scarlett's then...

"Hey there, dreamer girl." Mike whispers in my ear. I realise I've just been staring at the doorway. I blush as he smiles his lopsided grin at me, my insides go all warm and fuzzy.

"Amelie, I told him." So maybe that's why they were holding hands. I hope so.

"Told him what?" Vic asks suspiciously, he must have thought the same as me, that they were a couple.

"About Dean?" Danielle looks up from texting.

"About Dean." She confirms "My psycho ex." She explains the story. Leaving out the fact that I have a similar story. I see Mike glance at me a lot so I think she told him.

"I need to show you something." I say meekly.

"Amelie! Are you going to show them the THING?!" She winks. Mike laughs and looks at me seductively. As does Jaime.

"Yeah, the thing." I giggle. They so won't be ready for this. I run to my bunk. I take my bag (which the boys collected from my house, I live alone.) and run out of the bus door. The boys, Scarlett and Danielle follow me. Danielle and Scarlett grinning at each other. They know what I'm going to do. I tell them to pick a number between one and three. They all say at exactly the same time the number two. I laugh and open my bag. I lay out on the ground; my cheer poms, my ballet shoes and my tap shoes.

"You all said two so... Ballet it is." I show them my solo. I used to dance for a company but then things got bad. I dance gracefully, even on grass, adding in an extra turn or leap here and there. When I'm done they all cheer me. They all tell me that I'm amazing and Scarlett grabs my cheer poms. She throws me one.

"But these things fucking hurt!" I moan.

"Oh well! You see," She starts speaking to the boys. "I used to dance with Ames." We launch into our Advanced routine and nail it. The boys are shocked and Danielle is laughing her arse off. She picks up my tap shoes.

"Believe it or not, I used to dance too!" She puts my tap shoes on. Scarlett takes the other pom from me and we dance in different styles perfectly. The boys are absolutely dumbfounded.

"Hello? Anyone in there?" I say to Mike. He must be feeling the same as I was earlier. Except without the whole couples thing. He suddenly snaps out of it.

"I thought you ankle was hurt!" He laughs.

"It was!" I grin. He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. I start to hit against him and he soon falls over, me on top of him.

"Well this is awkward..." He blushes.

"Ummm... Hello lovebirds? We just asked you if you wanted to come with us to Sleeping With Sirens' bus tonight, we just got invited." Jaime interrupts.

"Uh yeah, sure." I say, standing up, still laughing. Scarlett rolls her eyes and pushes me closer to Mike, who just stood up.

"Will you two just give up and kiss?!"
