"What are you doing?" Penny said as she warped her self in her black rob. "It's last midnight. If we want to go tomorrow, we have to wake up early Ali." I wasn't really paying attention to her. I just kept staring at the pictures. "Alia? Are you even listening to me?"
"Not really Penny. Not Really." She sighs and wraps a blanket around my shoulders.
"I just wished l knew what's in your head so I could help you."
"no one can help me Penny. I can only do this myself." I picked up a photo and got the lighter.
"I wouldn't do that."
i lowered both objects and faced her. "Why not?"
"Because... What if your dad comes back, and what if he passed away, you wouldn't have any memories left." I sighed and picked them up again.
"I wouldn't care." I said. "It wouldn't matter." I turn on the flame and watch that picture burn into ashes, tears forming in my eyes. Penny picks up a photo and gasps.
"he's your dad?" I look at the cloudless night sky. The moon shined so bright... It was the only light I wante to see.
"That's the asshole." I said.
"I can't believe it."
"i wish he wasn't."
"Al.... Why can't you let the past go?"
"because of that man.. I suffered. Because of that man, I have no family. " I let the tears fall free.
"I hate him... And I would face him. You just watch and see." I got another picture and see how our smiling faces slowly banished into the cool night wind. "I will never forgive you." I whispered as I saw his face in another picture.
"Never."

"You ready?" I nod and fixed my shirt. I was so ready. I had dyed my hair back to the natural color and had taken off my contacts. Today is the day I meet him again... After 15 years. Reunited.
No love from my side.
Just hate.
i started to slip on some bracelets and stopped. I ran my fingers over my fresh cuts and old scars.
This was me.
With no father.
No mother.
well not entirely but you get me.. I hope.
"ALIIIAAA!!" Penny yelled from the kitchen. I grabbed my sunglasses and fixed my hair once more. I smiled at my reflection and walked out the bedroom door. "You look sexy."
"its just the socks,Pen. Let's get going?" She nods and hands me a carton cup, containing my morning coffee. "Graci." She smiles and together we walk out the apartment building doors and into our journey.

i can't wait to see the look on his face!
