She Was Always The One

I was sitting in the airport for a good hour and a half, looking all over for the sight of a boy who was tall and lanky. I think the worst part about all of this is that I don't even have a phone that works so I can't talk to anyone about my deleama. Another 30 minutes in I caught a glimps of a tall boy who looked to be my age or a year older, he had hair that went to his shoulders, he was wearing a black beanie and big square black sunglasses. To be honest he looked pretty rough, like he was hung over. He pulled down his shades so they would sit at the tip of this nose and scanned the room. His eyes darted at me three or four times till he glued them to me and slowly made his way to me. "You Petra?" The tall boy asked, "yeah, Mike right?" I asked trying to keep my calm. "Yeah let's go we're late" he ordered and walked away from me, not even bothering to help me with all my bags. "You do know you're two hours late right?" I asked once I was close enough that I knew he would hear. "Yeah well I had some quickies to do and you are just in the way, I really could care less that you are staying with us so just stay out of my way okay?" He spat raising his voice near the end. I nodded my head, put my suitcases in the back, got in the vehicle and shut up.

The car ride was rather unpleasant and very awkward. After a good 30-40 minute ride we pulled up to a small/medium sized house. It was a light yellow color with dark blue trimming around it, you could tell it was an older house but it was in very good condition. Mike got out of the car and went straight inside, I got all my bags out of the car when an older lady walked out of the house. "Oh chicka you must be Petra?! I'm so glad you're here!" She exclaimed and pulled me in for a hug. "Hello Mrs.Fuentes, it's a pleasure being here, and thank you for taking me in" I politely replied once she let go of me. "Oh please love, call me Vivian" I smiled and nodded my head, I knew it would be a while till I actually call her by her first name. I proceeded to get my bags out of the car, I grabbed two of them while Mrs.Fuentes grabbed the other one.

Mrs.Fuentes showed me to my room, which is upstairs towards the front of the house. To my surprise the room was pretty big, and I got a great view to look at the sun set. I thank god that there was a balcony so I could sit outside and enjoy the view. "I'll let you get settled in, we were supposed to eat in a bit but since Mike was late to pick you up there will be food on the stove for when ever you are hungry" Mrs.Fuentes said while rubbing my arm in a sympathetic way. "Thank you" I say and look at the ground, not sure of how I should reply. Once she left I got my docking station out and placed it on the desk that was provided for me, plugged my iPod in and looked for a catchy up beat song I could sing along to while unpacking my things. I settled on some song by Anarbour and proceeded to emptying my suitcases. I was just about done emptying the third suitcase when Mike banged o my door and walked in without me granting him to enter. "Can you turn this shit down? I can't concintrate on shorting people while your crappy music is on" he spat in my face then went to my iPod and turned it off, "now this is how loud it should be" he said then walked out of my room an slammed the door. What did I do to make him hate me? I decided that I didn't want to go out of my room and see everyone so I changed into pj shorts and a huge old Poison shirt. I saw the sun goin down so I went to the balcony to watch day turn into night. I hope I can get on better terms with Mike, and I still need to meet Vic too! I hope he's nicer than his brother.
