Megan's POV

I'm round Tony and Erin's house, my dad told me to get out of the house for a while so him and my mum can spend more time together, alone. I understood completely, they hardly spend any time together alone because of my dad's touring and my mums situation now, so me and Jacob left the house for the day. I obviously went to Tony and Erin's house and Jacob just went to one of his friends house. I liked going round Tony and Erin's house, mainly because of Elizabeth. She's their 3 year old daughter, she's very bubbly and loves to play hide and seek, just likes when I was younger. I remember playing hide and seek with my dad all the time when I was her age. She's very good at it too, she uses her small size as an advantage of hiding in very small spaces so it's a lot harder to find her.

"3, 2, 1, ready or not here I come!" I shouted so wherever she was in the house, she could hear me. I stood up off the couch and walked round the house. I looked high and low, looked under chairs and behind curtains, but I just couldn't find her. I walked into the kitchen to see Uncle Tony and Erin.

"Can't you find her?" Erin asked looking amused.

"No, she's so good at this!" I shook my head. Uncle Tony laughed

"She's just like you when you were younger, you were impossible to find when we played with you!" He explained. I smirked then laughed, she took after me in hide and seek.

"Well do you have any idea where she could be? I've been looking for ages" I sighed with a pout. They laughed at me.

"Have you checked under her bed?" Erin asked.

"She can fit under there?" I gaped. The gap under her bed was tidy, I wouldn't have guessed she would be small enough to fit under there, but I guess I was wrong.

"Yeah, that's her favourite place to hide at the moment!" She said.

"But the gap is so small" I laughed.

"She is small" She laughed back. I nodded my head.

"That's true" I replied. I then left them alone and headed upstairs. I walked towards her bedroom and opened the door. Her bedroom was typically pink and Barbie, it was a very girly room. A rustle caught my attention. I walked around the room and pretended I didn't know where she was.

"I wonder where Elizabeth is" I said out loud. I heard a faint giggle coming from the side of me. I walked around more and walked closer her bed. I slowly bend down and saw her feet. I laughed to myself slightly. I tickled her feet which shocked her and she laughed. She laugh was contagious. She wriggled out from under the bed and ran out of the room while giggling uncontrollably. I shook my head with a laugh and chased after her. I caught up to her and lifted her over my shoulder which earned more giggles from her.

"Put me down Megan" She said between laughs. I laughed and just ignored her. I walked downstairs with her still over my shoulder and walked into the kitchen.

"Oh look Erin she's found her!" Uncle Tony said when he saw us. Erin turned round and laughed at the sight.

"Was she under her bed?" She asked. I nodded my head, "told ya!" She laughed. I began to run around in circles and Elizabeth was laughing so much.

"I need to pee-pee Megan!" Elizabeth said while laughing. I immediately stopped and placed her on the floor, I didn't want her to pee on me.

"I don't want pee on me" I laughed. She then ran over to Uncle Tony.

"Daddy, I need to pee-pee" She whined. Uncle Tony sighed and stood up.

"Okay, let's go sweetie!" He said. He picked her up into his arms and walked out of the room. I loved seeing Uncle Tony with Elizabeth, he's a great dad and I'm happy for him. I walked over to a chair and sat down while Erin was cooking food.

"So how's the wedding planning going?" I asked her. She turned round with a smile.

"It's going great! I'm so excited to finally marry Tony!" She said excitedly. When ever she or anyone else mentioned a Uncle Tonys name, her face lit up with happiness, it was cute.

"Got a date yet?" I asked.

"Not yet, but I'm hoping somewhere in the summer!" She replied. Summer isn't that long away, I better start looking for an outfit to wear.

"That's not far away" I said.

"I know but I can't wait to marry him, he's the love of life and I want to be able to call him my husband" She beamed. I smiled.

"I can tell Uncle Tonys the same, he loves you so much" I smiled.

"Oh yeah, I totally forgot to ask you. Would you wanna be one of my bridesmaids?" She asked happily. My eyes widened.

"Of course I would!" I answered with a massive smile on my face. I ran over to her and hugged her tightly, "I can't wait to be one of your bridesmaid!" I grinned. She pulled away and looked at me.

"Do you think your mum would want to be too?" She asked cautiously. I shrugged slightly.

"I reckon she would, I'll ask her when I go home" I smiled. She nodded in understanding. She was only cautious because she didn't know if my mum would be up for it but by then my mum should be a lot better, well hopefully. Then I heard footsteps charging towards the kitchen. I twirled around and saw Elizabeth running towards me and Uncle Tony slowed trotting behind.

"Come on Megan, daddy said we can build a fort in the lounge!" Elizabeth squealed excitedly as she tugged at my trousers. I looked over at Uncle Tony and smiled.

"Just don't break anything!" He warned me.

"Yes sir!" I saluted him while made him chuckled slightly with a head shake. Elizabeth dragged me out of the room as quickly as she could, with the size of her compared to mine, it took her a while. I laughed as she was pulling with all her might. I eventually gave in, picked her up and walked into the lounge.

"So where should we begin?" I asked as I sat her on the couch.

"Pillow!" She squealed and began to collect every pillow in sight. I laughed at her eagerness and excitement, it's nice to see happiness for once, everything at home is so depressing and sad, it's refreshing to see people happy for once. Oh god I sound so selfish towards my mum. I didn't mean it like that, I just hate sad atmospheres and seeing Elizabeth happy and excited makes me feel happy too.

"Start building" She said jumping up and down. I did as I was told, by a 3 year old, and began to build the fort. Elizabeth didn't really build anything, she just gave orders and told me what to do. I was basically her slave. Now an again she would hand me a pillow to build with but that's about it really. But once it was done, even I was impressed with it. Elizabeth was so excited I was scared she was going to explode or something, she couldn't contain her excitement. She was jumping up and down while cheering once I finished building the fort.

"Let's hide inside from mummy and daddy, they'll never know!" She said quietly then quickly hid inside. I chuckled at her cute childish behaviour, because of course, she is a child and I followed suit. I managed to get inside without destroying the fort, which was an achievement and we both just sat there.

"Thankyou for building me fort Megan!" She said with a smile. She stood up and hugged me tightly. Her little arms were wrapped around my neck and she was clutching onto me tightly. I felt my heart warm towards her, it felt good knowing I've made her happy. It made me think back to when I was a little girl, was I like her? Was I a happy kid? I don't really remember much of when I was her age because it was over 10 years ago but I'd like to think I was a cute and nice kid that everyone liked.
After a while of just hanging in the fort, Uncle Tony peeped his head inside which frightened Elizabeth slightly because she wasn't expecting it.

"Sorry to scare you sweetie but tea is ready" He said, "are you eating with us Megan?" He then asked me.

"Do you have enough?" I asked. I had to asked because I couldn't just assume just because I spend the day with them, doesn't mean they'll feed me too, I felt a bit rude. I didn't want to stay and intruded on their family meal.

"Of course there is!" He smiled.

"Then yes, if it's okay with you" I said. He nodded happily and then helped both me and Elizabeth out of the fort.

"Great fort by the way!" a Uncle Tony said looking impressed.

"Thanks, I did as your little girl told me to do" I laughed. He laughed too.

"Yeah, she can be a bossy madam sometimes" He shook his head with a laugh. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I didn't mind at all, it made me feel good to know I made her happy" I said.

"She loves you Megan, she's always asking us when she'll see you next, you're all she cares about really" He explained. I smiled. She was such a sweetheart, I didn't know I was that much of a part in her life, obviously I was wrong but I felt good.

"I should come round more often, I love spending time with her" I said. He smiled at me.

"You should, you're always welcome and considering the hard times at home, this is always a second home for you" Uncle Tony explained. I couldn't stop smiling, Uncle Tony and Erin treated me so well.

"Thankyou Uncle Tony!" I smiled. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly.

"Now come on, we've got fajitas!" He said. We walked into the kitchen and saw the food set on the table. Elizabeth was sitting in the high chair, feeling like the head of the table, Erin was sitting next to her while placing the food on Elizabeth's plate.

"Megan next to me!" Elizabeth said happily while pointing the the free seat beside her. I happily sat down and it made Elizabeth happy.

"Help yourself Megan" Erin said kindly.

"Thanks" I replied politely. I grabbed a wrap and made a fajita, the food looked so good. I bit into it and I melted, I'd never tasted something so good, I could tell Erin was a cook, "this is so good Erin!" I complimented her. She smiled at me.

"Thanks Megan" She said.

After tea, Uncle Tony drove me home. Elizabeth protested for me to late but I couldn't over stay my visit, I felt like I had stayed round too long anyway. I reassured her that I'd come back round soon, which I would be and I left. Uncle Tony dropped me off then drove off.
