I was snatched out of slumber by the sweet sound of Tony talking on the phone. He was closer to me than i remember. I didnt have a huge problem with it. It was truly comforting for someone like me.

"Yes sir."

"Mhm"

"I understand...I tell him"

"Okay thank you sir."

I couldnt hear who he was talking;to only what he was saying which made me question who he was saying "yes sir." to. "Fuck.." i heard Tony sigh as he sat down his phone on the bed.

"Whats wrong?" i sat up so i could look at him. His eyes widen- i assume because he thought i was asleep. "Uhh Sergeant Fowler would like to speak to you today"

My eye brows went on my forehead like how my parachute jolted up.

"When?" "What time?" I corrected my self.

"A job offer sort of thing is all he said."
I thought for a while as to why he ended with thank you sir.

"Why did you say 'thank you Sir' ? "

He rubbed his eyes and said "ill be leaving in 2 weeks to go back into war"

"But 'I' ended it." I pointed out the truth, it might sound conceded but do i care? No.

"Yea which only caused it to grow bigger, because they're pissed now. Most likely about start teroist attacks." "shit.." i mumbled to my self. Slightly gaining a head ache from receiving all these emotions and information as soon as i wake up.

I lay back down absent mindlessly. This is a mess.

I sat in my kitchen with Sergeant Fowler. Yes he is a sergeant but pajamas are better than Sergeants.

"Mr. Fuentes because your story is really talked about on base with the newbies...we would like you to come talk to the newbies...dont scare them. Skip all the feelings and scary-emotional parts "

I squinted at him because of the words that just spilled out his month... "Isnt that lying to them?"

"No,its called not scaring them"

"Now i know why my father didnt want me to join"

"Look.." he said growing angry by the second.

"I can see clear the rain is gone" i said in a serious tone;not breaking eye contact with him. He rolled his at my childish words.

"Take the job or have nothing going for you in life"

"Excuse my choice of words but what do you mean nothing going for me?"

"Mr. Fuentes yes or no." He stated coldly avoiding my question.

"Yes" i said emotionless as he began to get up and leave. Those boys dont deserve to be lied to no i had a plan.



Its all too confusing now.
