The truth never set me free so I'll do it to my self

Viviana p.o.v.

The date made it clearly that was no future for me and Jaime as lovers, so he drove me home. I kissed his cheek and whispered a “goodbye.” before he went away.
I sighed seeing my first real crush going away, but it was right. He had got the right to stay with a person that loved him.
My sister was waiting for me on the couch of the living room and she probably understand how the whole thing went by my face.
“I’m sorry.”
She whispered.
“Don’t be. Now he’s free.
We found out that we couldn’t work as a couple.”
“Did you try to kiss him?”
“Yeah, it was like kissing a friend, a very loved friend but just a friend.”
“Gotcha. Well, I wanna meet Matt, could you please ask him to come here one of this evenings?”
“Yeah, that’s ok.”
She nodded.
“I will miss you. Vivi, can I ask you another thing?”
“Tell me.”
She sighed.
“Tony wants me to model for his clothes line do you wanna join it?”
I looked at her surprised.
“Me? Why?”
“Because you are a nice girl and you are not the usual cliché of a skinny model. Many girls will find themselves in you.”
“I understand. Ok, I’ll do it.”
“Thanks a lot, then goodnight.”
“Nighty, night.”
When I was finally in my room I called Matt, he answered pretty soon.
“Ehy, angel. How are you?”
“Free!”
“What?”
“I went to a date with Jaime and we found out it doesn’t work, so I‘m free. Ah, and my sister wanna meet you. Can you come here one of these evenings?”
“Sure, the day after tomorrow?”
“Cool, I will tell her. How are you?”
“Fine. Now I can date with the girl I love.”
I smiled.
“That’s very sweet to you!”
“It’s just the truth.”
I smiled again and we chatted for some other minutes then I closed the call.
I was happy that now everything was clear and I felt free.
For the first time from when I was in San Diego I slept calm, without a worry or something, everything was clear. The messed book of my past was finally fixed and I was ready to write a new chapter, no matter how far it would take me away from here.
I will miss my sis, Hayley and all the friends I made during the Warped Tour, but I needed a change.
The next morning I woke up in a good mood, I took a shower and then I went downstairs. Sofia and Tony were in the kitchen, I wouldn’t join them because I gotta meet Matt in a bar.
My sister gave me a weak smile, Tony was clearly pissed off.
“What’s wrong with me, Tony?”
“Are you really asking that, Viviana.”
“I am.”
“My best friend is hurt because of you and you asked why I’m angry.”
I sighed.
“Tony, it won’t work between me and Jaime, we made it clear.
I’m not happy that he’s hurt, but he will be more hurt if I would fake love and fooled him, don’t you think?”
“All I know is that you are a trouble maker, Viviana.”
“Ok, I accepted it. But please don’t rude with Matt, tomorrow he will here for a dinner.”
He grinned sarcastically.
“Don’t worry. I won’t even be there, I have got a friend to cheer up and it’s more important that all of your bad guys.”
“Okay. See you soon.”
“Not too soon.”
He mumbled under his voice, but my sister heard him and they started to fight.
Tony is right, I’m just a trouble maker, better for everyone if I left.
I reached Matt at the bar, he was smiling.
“Hello, sunshine! Are you ok?”
“Nope, Tony is angry with me and he started to fight with my sister.”
“I’m so sorry.”
“It’s not your fault.”
I cut it off.
“It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t join my sister at the Warped Tour, I should go somewhere else.
Jaime is broken because of me and it’s normal that his best friend hate me.”
He didn’t say anything.
“Let’s order something.”
“Yeah, but I feel a little guilty.”
I shook my head.
“Please, don’t feel so. Tony said I was a trouble maker and he’s right, I don’t wanna mess up even your life.”
“You are not messing my life, I’m happy to have been met you.
My holiday is almost over, would you come with me in England?”
“Yes, I would. I will never let you escape, I learned from my mistakes.”
He smiled and we ordered two cappuccino and two brioches.
We had our breakfast relaxed, then we decided to go to the beach at our place, just to talk or kiss.
I was afraid to meet Jaime, it would be awkward and sad. He drove me to the beach and we walked till our pier just to meet someone I wouldn’t meet.
Tony and Jaime were sitting on the wooden structure.
“Oh, sorry.”
I said blushing. Both Jaime and Tony gave a look to Matt and they were not good looks.
“Do you left mi amigo for an English asshole who is probably a fag?”
Asked harshly Tony.
“Yeah, I’m sorry. We gotta go.”
“I still hope that someone you would be mine, Viviana.”
I said anything and left swearing under my voice. What a luck! I choose a place in order to not meet Jaime and I found out that we shared the same secret place!
We spent the morning looking for a place to stay quiet on the beach, than we gave up, everywhere there were too much people.
I was nervous, I felt guilty for the whole situation. In the end we finished in a little bar on the beach and we had lunch there.
“Are you sure you want me as your girl?”
He nodded and kissed me gently.
Now I feel a little more safe and happy. The clouds were going away from life for now.
