What's So Good About Picking Up The Pieces? (Discontinued)

I Lay awake for most of the night, just thinking, about Mike mainly, other things too, but the thought of mike just stood out. I Sighed and rolled over in my bed, my clock lighting up one half of the room. The numbers read 5:58. Shit.. Looks like i'm getting no sleep today. I Threw myself off of the bed and landed on the floor with a thud. I Got up and walked, more like hobbled, to the bathroom. I Clicked the dial on the shower to the red. Hot. I Waited for the water to reach the right temperature before climbing in. I Grabbed the shower gel and washed myself. I Got my lemon scented shampoo and began to lather it into my hair. After washing it out, i repeated the actions, but with conditioner this time.

Hopping out of the shower i checked the time and found it was 6:47. That was a long shower! I Walked to my closet and picked out a pair of black jeans and an Anthem Made shirt and walked into the hall. I Quickly noticed Lidia wasn't up yet. I Should make the best of this.. I Slowly crept into her bedroom and bent down to her ear. "LIDIA FUCKING PERRY! GET UP!" I screamed into her ear. She shot up quicker than i had ever seen her move. I Could not stop laughing and she just glared at me "TONY! WHAT THE FUCK?!" she screamed. "We're gonna be late" I Said acting innocent. "Give me 10 minutes." She sighed. "5." I Retorted. She rolled her eyes. "7 And that's final." I Laughed slightly and got up to leave. "Oh! What did you tell Mike?" She asked curiously. "6 Minutes, Lid." I Walked out of her room. I Walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of Strawberry flavoured water. "You not eating, Tony?" My mum asked, walking into the kitchen. "Nah, i ate earlier." I Replied nonchantly. She nodded in thought, before deciding to drop it. Lidia chose that moment to walk in. "2 minutes to spare. New record." I Joked. She playfully rolled her eyes and grabbed her backpack before walking out the door and down to my still locked car. I Grabbed my bag and walked down the drive, unlocked the car, and climbed in. "You better put some good music on." I Said to her. She laughed slightly before putting on some Blink-182.

The drive to school was pretty uneventful, except from Lidia not keeping the same song on for more than 2 minutes. As soon as the car was stationary, Lidia jumped out and ran towards Mike. I Hadn't even realised he was standing there. Huh. I Pulled into a space and exited the car. Checking the time it was 7:54 and classes start in 6 minutes. I Slowly made my way into the 2 story building and walked to my first period, Science with Mr. Hunter. This was my least favourite class purely because of the teacher. But this was one of the only classes i had with a kid called Jaime, and he was the closest thing i'd call a friend in this hell. The bell went as i entered the classroom, 6 minutes went fast..Basically for science, we had a surprise test and that pretty much took the entire period. First period down and no bother! I Mentally patted myself on the back and got up from my seat as the bell went.

It was now just after lunch and my next class, graphics, was with Mike. I Walked to my locker and pulled out the suitable things for the next 3 periods, before running up the stairs and along the corridor, only to be pushed against the wall by Jordan, the one person who had it out for me. I Avoided eye contact with him and just laughed. "So damn weak." He muttered before releasing his grip and pranced to class. I Pulled my backpack up farther and trudged down the hall and into the class. I Quickly took my seat at the back of the room as students started flooding in. I Pulled out my notebook and pencils and began to draw random sketches, that was until someone sat down next to me. I Looked up and found it was Mike. "Thought anymore about my offer?" He smirked. "Nah, it's alright." I Replied quietly. "Don't you like me?" He sounded hurt. "It's not that, it's just that i'm not into Abby that much." I Shrugged. He let out a loud laugh, throwing his head back. "She's like the hottest girl in the school! People are all over her and she chose you! You Tony! And now you're not into her?" I Couldn't tell what his expression was.. "How come you're not up the front with your buddies?" I Quickly changed the subject. "You looked lonely, so i thought i'd come speak to you." He shrugged. "Oh, well i'm fine, thanks. you can go back to your friends." I said not looking up from my notepad. I Was in the middle of a turtle sketch.. Mike said nothing and when i looked up i found he wasn't there anymore but he was in his usual seat up the front. My heart dropped. What is going on?!
