What's So Good About Picking Up The Pieces? (Discontinued)

I Sat thinking about what Mike had told me. He likes Abby, and I'm about to go out with her. I Don't want to go out with her, and Mike doesn't want me to go out with her, which he made blatantly obvious when he shouted it in my face.. Should I go?

I Was knocked out of my thoughts by my phone, which started to ring. I quickly reached for it, hoping that it was Mike, but it was Abby. Just then I caught a glance at the clock. 6:08 Shit i'm late!

I Clicked 'accept' on the screen and soon Abby's high pitch voice filled my ears.

"Tony! Where are you?" Abby Screeched.

"I.. I lost track of time, sorry." I apologised.

"Okay! Well hurry! I Look strange being here alone!"

Was it wrong that I laughed silently?

"Okay Abby.. I'll be there soon."

I Hung up and immediately sighed. Here we go..

As I pulled up in the parking lot of starbucks, I began to question myself.

Should I even be doing this? Mike likes her for fucks sake! I don't like her! But.. Lidia.. I Promised Lid.. Actually! No I didn't.I said one date..This is the second 'Date' as it could be considered..It'd be bad to leave her though..

My phone buzzed, knocking me out of my confusing thought path..

Mike: Sorry i blew up.
Tony: Dnt worry about it.
Mike: Thanks turtle.
Tony: Lidia told you too?
Mike: No, i just noticed your drawing.

I Didn't text back as there was a knock on the passenger side window and it scared the shit out of me. It wass Abby.I rolled the window down and she began to speak.

"Hey Tony!" She squealed, flicking her blonde hair.

"Hey Abby." I replied awkwardly.

She took that as an invite to open the car door and climb in.

"Where are we going?" She grinned at me.

"I.. Actually I-"

"Lets go to the mall!" She cut me off.

"Abby.. I uh.. Have you seen Lidia?"

"No! She told me she was going to be with Mike, thats kinda why I called you.." She trailed off.

Where the fuck is my sister?!

"Oh.. " My phone chose that moment to buzz. I Held my finger up to Abby to signal '1 Minute'

MIKE: Sorry Tony. Did I say something?
Tony: No, just a bit busy. sorry.

I quickly replied, and looked back at Abby. She was staring intently at me.

"I.. Tony, you don't like me very much, do you?.." She asked, her tone held an element of sadness.

"Sure I do, why'd you think that?" I Asked, trying to comfort her.

"Well.. When your phone buzzed you looked relieved and.. That was the only time I've seen you smile. Well, around me." She said, well mumbled.

"I.. Uh..-"

"I Knew it! Who do you like then?" She suddenly turned into a giddy teenage girl. Oh god.

"What?" I asked, completely shocked at her quick change of attitude.

"You're a cool guy. I Wanna be your friend? Have you ever considered that?" She smiled lightly.

"Are... What?" I was still dumbfounded.

"Who do you like?" She asked slowly and clearly. Seriously, is this girl crazy?

"I've never seen you show any... attraction? Yeah, attraction, to anyone else, and well, whoever you were texting, it was pretty blatant you like her." She grinned at herself.

"M.." I Had blurted it out without meaning it. "Micky.. From my English class.." I Said, hoping she bought it.

"Harris?" I Nodded. "Cool. She's a nice girl."


"Y-Yeah.. she is." She bought it that easy? wow.



I spent the rest of the night with Abby and she was actually quite a nice person, she was cool when you weren't technically being forced to date her anyway..

I Had just pulled into the drive way after dropping Abby of at her house, a few block away, and i noticed an unfamiliar car in the drive way.

Maybe Mike got a new car? Maybe mum got a ride home from work?

I Shrugged off those thoughts and figured it had some simple explination.

Once i opened a door, there was a scene I could never unsee, and how much I wish I could..

i don't like this chapter. It just came from.. well, i don't know where it came from, but I got an idea and my mind immediately went Ah, fuck it! and here is the outcome, I guess... So yeah..

Sorry once again.. I dont like it, but you guys might. Hopefully.
