Terrible Things

I left the house and started driving back home. I felt so bad leaving her like that. But, I knew Nolan couldn't possibly take care of a sick Cayden. As I was driving, I realised I forgot my wallet at her house. I sighed and made a U-turn. As I approached her house, I saw a familiar vehicle in her driveway. I couldn't seem to think of who owned the car. I got out and walked to the front door. It looked like it had been forced open. I ran inside and saw Spenser beating the shit out of Scar. "GET OFF OF HER!!" I yelled while running towards him. He reeked of vodka. I punched him in the face and he fell over. "You'll pay for this you bitch." He slurred as he walked out of the house, wiping his nose blood on his sleeve. I crouched down next to Scar and started crying. She was a mess. She had bruises and blood all over her face and body. That prick is going to pay. I quickly and carefully carried her out to the car. I drove as fast as I could to the nearest hospital. I got held up by a car crash but I didn't care. I needed to get my best friend to the hospital. Fast. "Scar it's gunna be okay I promise baby girl. I promise." I said to her while more tears fell down my face. I finally arrived at the hospital and rushed her in. Doctors put her on a stretcher and took her down the hall into a room. I stayed in the waiting room while crying. Once I finally calmed down, I called Nolan and told him what happened. He said he would be there right away. I hung up and sat there as angry tears spilled out. Spenser will pay for this. He is NOT going to get away with doing this to my best friend. I'm going to find him, and I'm going to rip that prick apart. Bit by bit.
