Curtains Close; Take a bow. I think we fooled all of them now.
Chapter 99 - We Lived Fast And Died Pretty
Oli's POV
My hands shook violently. I heard her breathing beside my ear. I wanted to hold her. I wanted to tell her everything. But it was better this way. Better to stay silent for a while and then jump straight into the deep end.
"Hello?" She whispered.
"Baby." I replied, lowering my voice.
"I've missed you, Oli." She said. I could hear her gentle breaths.
"We've all missed you." I replied, looking at the kitchen door frame, hearing the kid's voices muffled from that direction. I hesitated as I tried to think of what to say to her.
"You'll never guess who is here..." She whispered.
The moment was gone. I swallowed hard.
"My brother. My own brother." I could just imagine her smiling. Her cheeks lifting up to compliment her eyes. I could see her face perfectly.
"That's great baby." I whispered. "We were wondering if you would want to take a day trip sometime this week?" I gulped. My palms were sweaty and I felt drowsy.
"To see you all?" She asked. Her voice was innocent and tender.
"Yes." I replied simply. "I can pick you up at ten o'clock on Wednesday morning... But if you don't want to see us I understand." I tried to calmly present it to her.
"No... I..." She mumbled slightly. It was adorable. I wanted to hold her so bad. I held her ring in my hand and glanced down at it. She would love it. I knew she would. She took a deep breath. "Sure... It's Sienna's birthday isn't it?"
"Yes. She wanted you there. So did I." I smiled at her acceptance. She would be my fiance by thursday. I just needed to plan where to take her and how to make it fun for both the kids aswell.
