Forgive Me- Part 3

Jaime's POV

"So where are we touring and who with?" I ask Vic. I couldn't get to the meeting today so I'm getting the run down now before heading back home.

"Australia" he says "And we're playing Soundwave"

I automatically freeze at his words. I haven't been back to Australia since Milly left. Should I detour to Canberra to find her? I wonder if she had our kid... Will she want to see me? Will she even be there anymore?

"Don't even think about it..." Vic said, his voice thick with emotion

"What?"

"If she wanted to see us she would have."

"I know you miss her too"

"We all do, but we can't force ourselves into her life"

"Vic she was pregnant! With my kid! What if she had it? I want to be there"

"Jaime it's been four years, she might be with someone else"

"I don't care! That's my child, you know how much I wanted a kid"

"I know man, and we all miss her and want her back but there isn't anything we can do"

"I have to at least try!"

"We don't have time while we're there anyway"

"I'll go when the tour is over. Our next one is two months after this"

"Jaime, you know this is a terrible idea. You're finally starting to move on, let yourself"

"Are you kidding? She's still all I think about. Not a day passes when I don't yell at myself for letting this happen. For not believing you guys, for pushing her away. I need her..."

"I know, and this may be hard to hear but, what if she's happy? What if her new life is going great? Do you want to ruin that for her?"

"No but... I just need to at least see her, just see if she kept the kid; what they're like. I need to see her happy"

"I still think this is a bad idea..."

"I need to Vic"

He just sighs deeply before nodding and patting my back. "Just don't get your hopes up okay?" He says before leaving.


"It's a little late for that..."
