The past never changes

I woke up feeling so peaceful, I had no idea what was up because that the first night in a long time that I didn't have a nightmare. It was 8:00 am my mom usually sleeps until like 11 on Sundays,and I didn't know where my dad was as usual, I decided that I needed to get out, I just can't stand seeing my mom act like everything is OK because its not.

i plopped out of bed still super sleepy, I decided to stay comfy today, so I put on some black sweat pants and a drop dead sweatshirt I put on my low cut converse and made my way out of my house. I decided to go get some coffee because Kathy had to spend the day with her grandmother, and I rather not hang around a bunch of old people, no offense they just give me anxiety because they ask so many questions like "why do you have colorful hair?" "Who do you always where such dark clothes?" It ran me crazy having to answer them.

Before i started my walk to the Starbucks I decided to let Kathy know where I would be going, mostly to avoid her bombarding with questions later.

SUNDAY, 8:45 AM TO: Kathy
"Hey Kathy I'm gong to Starbucks and then gonna maybe walk around the park.

In which she responded

SUNDAY, 8:47 AM TO: Mel
"Oh my god I can't believe you left me in this torture chamber to die"

She was obviously joking around, i replied

SUNDAY, 8:48 AM TO: Kathy
"OK whatever"

She sent
SUNDAY, 8:49 AM TO : Mel
Please be careful

I was getting annoyed by that message so i didn't reply ,

then I started my journey to Starbucks, as I arrived I ordered a mocha latte, then I chose where I wanted to sit luckily there was a table towards the corner of the place so I decided that was where I would sit, " number 43" I heard the cashier say, that was my number to listen out for when my order was done, so I played the cashier and made my way to my table, I sat down,

and I decided to let my latte cool down so I was just browsing through my phone with one ear bud in listening to some pierce the veil, I heard a voice say "can I sit here" I payed no attention and just nodded my head, then realised that I had just agreed to letting a total stranger sit with me, "this was the only seat kind of away from everyone, I don't really like people looking at me while I have coffee, its weird" he said kind of awkwardly, "ha, I know the feeling" I say without looking up, after about five minutes this person I have yet to look at said "I'm Vic by the way" he shrugged, "what like Vic Fuentes from pierce the veil I joked before looking up, "uh" he said, and with that I looked up, I kind of choked then buried my face in my sweater "i-im s-sorry I didn't k-know it was actually y-you" I stuttered getting nervous he must've notice me getting nervous cause then he said "its OK you don't have to be nervous around me, I'm not that big of a rock star" he joked, I giggled, he smirked,

After an awkward coffee with Vic I decided that I needed to get some air and just get away from him so I headed towards the park.
