The past never changes

We hung out with Mel the rest of the day watching TV and just talking about music and stuff, we left at about nine. We had decided that we needed to get some rest.

When we got back to the bus we all just sat down for a minute before doing anything else, "hey guys" I said getting everybody's attention, "what's up man?" Mike said sitting next to me. "We should all go out Friday to get our minds off things" I said sitting back in the couch.
"Cool, where we going?" Jaime asked, "I don't know, maybe the mall or the movies, something that Mel would want to do" I shrugged.
"Alright, we'll use tomorrow to just blob around and we'll call the girls up to see if they
wanna go" mike said.
"Alright, I'm going to bed man I'm tired" I said standing up.

Non of us had gotten much sleep lately and I was more than ready to go to bed.
I climbed up to my bunk and lied down getting cozy,
I soonly drifted off into a peaceful sleep.




*THE NEXT DAY*

I rolled over forgetting I was in the to bunk, I fell out of the bed and made a huge think sound when I hit the floor, "fuck" I moaned, I picked myself up rubbing my throbbing head, tony rolled over "dude are you ok?" He asked looking up at me,
"yeah, I'm fine" I said dragging my feet into the front lounge.
I sat on the couch, I checked my phone for the time, it said 7:27 ,
Luckily Mel didn't have to go to school for the rest of the week.
The doctor said it was best she stayed out of any major activities such as PE, and it was also good not to get too stressed out,
So some time out of school will do her good.

Mike walked in sitting across from me on the other couch, he picked up the remote and turned the TV on, he flipped through the channels a while before stopping it on family guy.
"Any plans for today?" Jaime asked walking in taking a seat next to me,
"Not really" I said standing up, "I'm gonna go get some coffee from Starbucks, do you guys want anything?" I asked looking for my shoes.
"nah I'm good for now" Jaime said,
I looked over at mike, "Im not really hungry, I might get something out of the fridge when I'm hungry" he said closing his eyes.
i walked towards the bunks to see if tony was still awake, of course he went back to sleep.
"Do you guys think I should wake tony up?" I asked walking back towards the front lounge.
"I think he'd prefer you to let him sleep"Jaime said.
I nodded my head, "well I guess I'll be back in a little while" I said heading towards the door.
"alright see ya later dude"Jaime said before I left.

I walked down the street towards the Starbucks.
I had my face glued to my phone untilI bumped into somebody,
I put my phone away, "I'm sorry" I said looking up.
"Oh my god, your Vic Fuentes!" She screeched jumping up and down.
"I'm Cindy, will you take a picture with me?" She asked.
Her name, its the same name of that girl that Mel said bullied her, I wonder if its her...
maybe not I don't know.
"Sure" I said smiling, she snapped the picture.
I couldn't help but ask, "umm, not to be weird but what's your last name?" I asked nervously. "Smith" she said.
ok this has to be the one, I held back my anger.
"Well it was nice meeting you but I have to go" I said getting really mad,
"ok, bye" she said walking away.
Maybe I just overreacted, maybe it wasn't her, I just couldn't shake the feeling.
I finally made it to Starbucks.

Maybe a refreshing coffee will get my mind thinking straight.
