The past never changes

We walked out of the bathroom back into the front lounge where Jaime mike tony and Vic were sitting. Vic smiles as he notices us, his smile makes me feel like pain never existed. "Should we go to bed now?" Vic asked standing up. 'Umm...sure" I said looking down. "I don't know about anyone else but I'm feeling like some late night snacks" mike said heading towards the tiny refrigerator. "I'm not hungry I ate before we got here" I lie, Vic frowns a little. "Anyway Mel and I are going to bed" he urges grabbing my hand. Shit, this is gonna be a hard conversation.

He drags me past the bunks towards the back lounge, "I thought we were going to bed" I said stupidly already knowing what would happen next. "We need to talk" Vic said sitting down motioning for me to do that same. "Why don't you eat?" He asked frowning again, "I'm fatter than a hog, I'm ugly,vic , I know I am you don't have to denyit" i said feeling tear run down my cheek, "Mel" Vic says softly moving closer to me wrapping his arms around me, "you are not fat, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen" he says starting to cry a little. How could he like me? I'm not pretty, hundreds of scars cover my entire body, how could anyone ever love that?.
"can I see your arm?" Vic asks softly rubbing my arm. "Yes" I said nervously, he was gonna find out at some point anyway.
As he pulled my sleeve up my arm he gasped at the sight, "why do you do this?" He asks with a really concerned voice. "Its the only way I know to take away the pain" I say looking down not wanting to face him.
"Melony" he says with a tear running down his face causing me to break down in tears. He wraps his arms around trying to sooth me, "shh, its ok, you don't have to feel bad about it, its a problem that many people go through" he says sighing before sitting up again, he rolls his sleeve up revealing faded scars on his wrist. I whimper before pulling him into a hug, he start to cry, "Mel" he's says looking into my eyes "promise me you will try to stop" he says holding my hand, I shook my head "promise" I knew it was gonna be hard but I'll try my best to stop, for Vic. He rolled my sleeve down again, he pulled my arm up to his lips and lightly kissed my cuts, "I kissed the scars on her skin, I still think your beautiful and I don't her wanna lose my best friend" he sang. His voice is so perfect.
he leaned towards me placing his soft lips on mine, I closed my eyes, he licked my bottom lip begging for entry, I opened my mouth allowing him to enter. We kissed for what felt like an eternity which I wouldn't mind living in forever.

i stood up "I'm sleepy" I say in a sleepy toned voice. He nodded his head and stood up. I got into his bed moving over so he could get in, he played down next to me.

He spooned me, he kissed my shoulder "goodnight" he said softly, "goodnight Vic" I said dozing off into a deep sleep.

This had to be the best day of my life, for once I feel wanted, cared for. And the person who felt this way about me is now sleeping right next to me.

i soon fell into a deep sleep. What a wonderful day
