When I met him....

*VIC'S POV*


I pull into the driveway of the house, I shut the car down and basically leap out of the car, I run towards the house with tony following behind.
I open the door...wait...why isn't it locked?, I walk into the living room broken pieces of what used to be a vase cover the floor.
"oh my god" I whisper, I run upstairs to see if they were still home.
I run through all the bedrooms hoping to find her.
She was nowhere to be seen, I got back to the hall and just broke down in tears.
I was too late, he had already gotten to her and now she's gone,
Why couldn't I have just gotten here in time?.

Tony crouches down next to me, "I called the police and filed a missing person's report, they'll be here soon" he said now sitting down next to me,
"What if we can't find her?" I asked wiping away my tears,
"We'll find her" he said looking worried himself, "but what if he hurts her before we find her?" I ask, "she's a smart girl, she won't give up easily" he said standing up,
"We should go wait outside", I nodded my head and walked outside, we sat on the sidewalk until the cops showed up.
after they asked us a few questions about scar and what we knew about jack
they left. The other guys came over and we had a quick and mostly silent dinner,
We had decided that we would get a good night's rest and get up early to start our search for scar. My stomach was in knots, "I'm gonna get a shower and go to bed"
I said walking upstairs, I got to my bedroom, I walked over to the dresser where I had put the blade that I had taken away from scar, I sat down on the floor,
I fiddled around with the blade for a while.
if I would have just gotten here earlier, the bad thoughts flooded my mind and I put the blade to my skin, I drug the sharp object across my arm,
One for not getting in time, two for letting her down, this continued for several more cuts until my arm was covered in blood.
I deserved every single one of them. I washed my arm and bandaged it up.
I went to my bed and layed down, I pulled a few sheets over my body and drifted off to sleep.
