Putting It Together

Quick note: Okay guys so this chapter is gonna be quite long bc i haven't been doing long chapters so enjoy lovlies xx

I walked into the school. I didn't know why I didn't just turn myself around, and head straight out. All I know is I didn't do that, I'm pretty glad I did, too. As I got my schedule from the main office, I opened it and went straight towards my homebase. I felt as if I was walking at 200 Miles Per Hour, I was ready to face whatever came my way...surely no drama or tears involved.

I walked into my almost full homebase, since then class time span was only 8 minutes, she was trying to get the high school students assembled. Her eyes got caught on me, and she pointed to my seat and nodded towards me. I speed-walked over to my desk and plopped down, ready. Once she had gotten the students organized, she spoke to them.

"Hello, students. My name is Mrs. Adrianas. Welcome back!" She cheered.

"Hi Mrs. Adrianas." The class chorused.

As we heard the bell ring, I darted out of the class. Mrs. Adrianas was talking about her wedding day, and how it went...I hate teachers who turn class into their history lesson. I approached my first class, and already bumped into someone. As I sat on the floor, rubbing my head, I looked up.

It was him, It was Tony!

He was smiling as soon as he saw me look up, also holding his head. I examined him before he helped me up; he was very tall and skinny, wearing mostly black....he had a face piercing and a couple tattoos, also a good amount of hair. I smiled awkwardly at him, and he did the same back..then I remembered.

Look at his eyes, just take a peak...see what they're like. My mind screamed it me.

My eyes darted to his, gluing my eyes to his I could only notice one thing, they weren't black. They were mix hazel and dark brown. They were beautiful, I felt like I was put in a trance by them.

"Sorry." He said blankly.

"Yeah, I should've watched where I was going." I said, putting my schedule in my pocket.

"You know," Tony said eyeing me "You're the first girl to talk to me ...since the rumor started." He said, his voice seemed so full, but so empty.

"U-uh, yeah?" I said stupidly 'Of course you are, dummy! Who would talk to him after what was told about him?'

"Yeah. I assume u haven't heard it." He said looking at some people who were staring at us.

"No, I have."

"And your still talking to me?" He questioned, stunned.

"Yeah, I think those rumors aren't true." I said all smiley, poking his arm.

"Haha, well your the first." He smiled, the smile seemed filled with so much life, unlike the smile in my dream for what was filled with so much hate and death.

"I'm Alyssa." I said, sticking my hand out to him to shake.

"Tony." He replied, shaking my hand.

"I know." I giggled "Ew, sorry..I don't like my laugh."

"I think it's cute." He said, looking away.

"What?"

"What?" He laughed, acting like he didn't say what he just said.

We both started laughing, walking down the hall together. He asked for my schedule to see what classes we had together. Turns out we have every period together except for 9th..weird, yes..but I didn't think anything of it.

Tony was so fun, funny, cute and...If it's safe to say a bit of a flirt. I knew Mike and Vic wouldn't be cool with it. When Mike came up to me in school and asked if I needed an escort, all I said was 'No' and walked away, leaving him confused. I was also pissed at both of them though. How dare they lie?! To make an innocent person seem like a murderer or something!?

"I'M HOOOOMMME!" I screamed, putting down my bag and walking into the kitchen.

"Hey Lys!" Mike and Vic said.

"Oh, hi." I said, showing I was pissed.

"What did we do now?" Vic asked jokingly, expecting a joke back.

"Everything."

"What?" He said in sync, confused.

"You lied." I spoke, giving the death squint to both of them "Tony's completely harmless, and his eyes aren't black!" I snapped.

They looked defeated, like they had just lost someone close to them. They both sighed and looked at each other, and nodded, like they were agreeing to tell me something.

"Look, Lys. We only told you that story because we didn't want you hanging out with him." Vic spoke, his voice seemed destroyed "He's a bad boy Lys, what good can come out of that?" Mike spoke up.

"Your judging him for his appearance?" I said, rage filling my voice.

"Lys..." Mike spoke.

"NO! I'M SO MAD AT YOU GUYS! HE WOULD NEVER HURT ME, DO YOU KNOW HE'S BULLIED EVERYDAY BECAUSE OF THE RUMOR YOU TOLD NOT ONLY ME, BUT EVERYONE IN THE SCHOOL?!" I hollered, my throat hurting more and more with every word that came out. Tony had told me Vic and Mike spread the rumor, and that took me off edge, I was disgusted.

Poor Tony...I had to make his life better...

I had to put it back together.

Or he'd be broken...
