Blackness
Misunderstood
"Let the game begin."
----------------------------------
As I said many times before, I was scared, scarred, I was never going to sleep again. I was thinking all this while starring into his eyes.
-----------------------------------
I jolted up, finding myself in a pitch black bedroom,
My bedroom.
"But, that's impossible..." I whispered to myself, scanning over my shoulders, which Tony were leaving bruises on, when I was interrupted. Was it really, was all that a dream? I shook my head, baffled. I knew I was supposed to start school on the 20th of May, Monday. I picked up my phone and read "Sunday, May 19th, 11:52 PM". Mouth hanging open, I felt as if it was a vision..or, I didn't even know at this point. I got out of my bed and turned on my light, inspecting my body in the mirror. Impossible I thought. It was all too real, And, to be honest it was. Holding Ashlee, the teenagers pleading for their lives, It was disturbing.
I decided I wasn't going to get another blink of sleep tonight, so I just turned off the light, and lay face up on my bed. I was wondering how dreams could be so real, like..If they're a piece of your life that you're never going to really experience. I sighed, tired of thinking about it. I probably had the dream because I was paranoid that was how tomorrow was going to go. Then I remembered the beginning of the dream, Mike telling me not to look into his eyes, it was so realistic it was shaking me up. As I lay there in my bed, safe from Tony, and what he might be...I let the safe sound of nighttime flow in and out my ears.
----------------------------------------------
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, I opened my eyes remembering the events from last night, letting a shaky sigh escape my mouth. I sat up and pinched myself, to make sure this wasn't a dream. "Ouch!" I screeched, nope, this time it's real. I got dressed in the same outfit i had in my dream, only this time when I went downstairs, Mike and Vic were waiting for me.
"Hey! It's sleeping beauty!" Hollered Mike from across the room.
"Ugh, not in the mood Mike." I sighed, picking up an apple.
"Why? You nervous?"
That line gave me a shiver, he said it in the dream.
"Mike, slap me." I said seriously.
"I'd love to, but I won't." He laughed.
"I'm not joking, Mike! Smack me slap me! Pinch me do anything!" I screamed, it was obvious to him that I wasn't playing around. He quickly, but hard enough pinched my cheek.
"There." He laughed
"Ouch." I said, rubbing my cheek, I let out a relieved sigh afterwards.
"Are you okay today Lys?" He asked, lifting an eyebrow.
"Yeah, just a bit shaken up is all.." I said quickly, grabbing my bag and rushing out the door, not caring what time it was.
"Want me to drive you too school?" Vic asked as I was exiting the house.
"Nope thanks anyways Vic." I rushed.
I wasn't ready for what would come when I came to school, but I just knew it wouldn't be good.
Dreams could happen for a reason.
Maybe, a....warning?
