Call Me Crazy (Tony Perry/OC)

Chapter 2

“Tony,” I whispered harshly. “Tony, wake up,” I tapped his shoulder for a second time, making him stir in his sleep. He sat up slowly, a confused look on his face. He ran his hand through his hair and then wiped his eyes before opening them.
“What’s wrong?” He looked around the room.
“I heard something downstairs, like, footsteps,” I whispered, bringing my knees to my chest. “Oh my God,” I cried quietly. Tony put his hand on my knee, sitting up and putting his other arm around me.
“It was probably—“ He was cut off as there was a loud clatter downstairs of a plate dropping, making us both flinch. “Take my phone, get in the closet and call the police.” He said sternly. His jaw was set and he looked about ready to kill someone.
“Please, don’t go downstairs, please don’t, stay here, please,” I pleaded, feeling tears down my face.
“Olivia, call the police now.” He said again, turning me around and making me get into the closet. He grabbed a lamp from my bedside table, and got into the closet with me. I sat in the corner, while Tony stood beside the door, holding the lamp.
“9-1-1, what’s your emergency?”
I told the operator my address and answered anything else they asked. I stayed on the line like they said to. A minute or two later, we heard sirens going down the street.
There was a guy in the house. The policeman had cuffed him and put him in the back of the car and then informed us that it was a kid at the local high school who was armed, and he was going to be charged with armed theft and he would be doing community service, until the end of July, seeing as it was only the first week.
*Third Person Point Of View*
Olivia and Tony went back inside the house. Her face was still visibly white and she was still shaking slightly. Olivia locked the door after they had gotten inside and they went back upstairs.
“Are you okay, Liv?” Tony whispered after they were laying back in bed, facing eachother.
She shrugged, not really sure. She was still freaked out, but she was glad that they were fine. “There was a guy in my house, with a gun,” She whispered, her voice cracked and dry.
“Come here,” he put his arms around her, pulling her into his chest. “I promise that no one will ever lay a hand on you, no one. I promise,” He planted a soft kiss on the top of her head and they fell asleep like that.

At 9 am the next morning, Olivia woke up and noticed that Tony had left the bed. She closed her eyes again, inhaling and exhaling slowly. She sat up, and stretched out before she went downstairs and saw Tony sitting on the couch, watching cartoons.
“Goodmorning, beautiful,” Tony said, smiling. She blushed, and made her way to sit beside him on the couch. He lifted his arm to wrap it around her shoulder and pull her towards him. “How did you sleep?”
“Not too well after last night,” She mumbled, quietly and shrugged. “Anyways, I want McDonalds pancakes.”
“Then I guess we’re going,” Tony laughed, standing up after her. He quickly shoved a twenty into his pocket before they left. “We’re going in pajamas?” He asked.
“Hell fucking yeah, we are,” She snickered. Getting into the front seat, she unlocked the door so that Tony could get in the other side, before she started the car. She pulled out of the driveway, and fixed her hair up in the mirror as she drove to the closest McDonalds.
When they got there and went inside, they ordered their food and waited for it to be ready to sit down. While they were waiting, Tony wrapped his arms around Olivia’s waist completely and she put her hands over his. After they got their food, they went to a booth and sat on either side of it.
“I wanna go shopping,” Olivia whined. She pulled out her phone as it beeped in her pocket.
Text from Sierra!
“we need to hang out later, i need some juicy details from the party if you know what i mean ;))”
Text to Sierra!
“oh my god you’re embarrassing”
Text from Sierra!
“don’t lie, you love it”
*Olivia’s Point of View*
I left that message unanswered, and continued to eat the pancakes infront of me. After we finished, we decided I should drop Tony off at his place so I could hang out with Sierra and he could get ready and go to Vic’s to talk over some more band stuff.
“Okay, well, see you after,” he pecked my lips before getting out of the front seat of the van, and going into the back to grab his guitar and a bag. He waved as he walked up to the door and knocked. I drove away and went back to my house. I cleaned up a bit, picking up laundry, putting it on to wash, and then loading the dishwasher.
I grabbed my flat iron from the bathroom drawer and plugged it in and then I grabbed my makeup bag. I started with my concealer and then put on my powder. I did my eyeliner, and then eye shadow, finishing off with my mascara, before I started doing my hair.
I straightened it perfectly and then went to change out of my pajamas. I slipped on a pair of leggings and a baggy, teal pullover shirt. I called Sierra and told her I was ready, and to call me when I should pick her up. I sat down on the couch and watched a bit of TV.
I got up about twenty minutes later, taking my phone with me, and went to the washroom and suddenly started feeling sick. I sat on the ground beside the toilet and got sick. After I had finished, I called Sierra and told her I was sick and that she should come over instead. I wasn’t feeling great, but I wasn’t feeling like I had a bad flu, more like just a bit of the flu.
I tied up my hair and then grabbed the garbage can from the washroom and put an empty bag in it. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and took off my bra, slipping on a baggy t-shirt. I sat on the couch in the living room and turned on a movie.
I curled up in a ball suddenly, starting to get random cramps. Shit, I thought. Being a girl sucks.
Sierra got here, and she didn’t bother knocking, she just walked straight in. She held up a tub of ice cream and smiled.
I laughed and she sat down beside me, handing me the ice cream, before getting up again to go get spoons.
“So you just randomly got sick?” She laughed, sitting down.
“It happens a lot on my period, I’m supposed to start the day after tomorrow, so it’s not really that random,” I said, digging my spoon into the ice cream.
“Oh, God, I would hate to be you, I barely even get cramps!” She exclaimed, taking a spoonful of ice cream.
“Ha,” I scoffed, laying back on the couch, trying to sit in a position that would not kill me. I settled on just sitting normally but slouching down. “I wanna watch Harry Potter,” I huffed.
“I got it,” Sierra stood up, grabbing the movie from the shelf with the other ones, and clicked eject on the DVD player. Another movie popped out and she took it in her other hand while putting the Harry Potter movie in. “Why the hell were you watching Star Wars?” She asked.
“Tony slept over and we watched it,” I shrugged. I grabbed the tub of ice cream and started digging my spoon into it.
“Oh yeah, Tony,” She said, smirking at me. My face turned red and I ignored her as she came back and sat down beside me. “You still never ended up telling me what went down the other night after the party,” She winked, laughing as my face turned an even darker shade of red.
“I don’t know, it just,” I paused, “happened,” I shrugged. I handed the tub of ice cream back. I laid back on the couch and closed my eyes... I just wanted to get a few minutes of sleep.
I was exhausted, to say the least. It had been a long week, before and after the party. All I wanted to do, was curl up in a ball with a big blanket, a good book, and read until I fell asleep.
“My mom just texted me, she needs me home, sorry,” Sierra said, flashing her phone over, showing me the text. I said goodbye, and she left, leaving me all alone.
I slept for a while after that, getting up after a while to go to the bathroom. I noticed I had started my period and I put on a pad and went back out and laid down, with a book, by John Green, Looking for Alaska.
I had made it about halfway through, and I fell back asleep.
**
At around 6pm, I heard my phone ringing, waking me from my nap. I grabbed my phone, not bothering to look at the caller ID, and picked up.
“Hello?” I said, my voice still groggy and tired. I cleared my throat.
“Hey, baby,” Tony responded, “Did I wake you up?”
“Yeah, but it’s fine, I’ve been sleeping almost all day,” I laughed and ran my hand through my knotted hair.
“Ha, I thought you and Sierra went to the mall?” He asked. I could hear wind in the background so I figured he was probably either walking home or just outside.
“I was gonna and then I got sick, so she came over and we hung out here for a bit. Once she left, which was around 1 probably, I fell asleep.” I got off the couch and went to the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal.
“You sound cute when you’re tired,” He laughed again. “My moms making tacos tonight, and wanted me to invite you... She loves you more than she loves me,” He joked.
“I don’t really know, I’m still feeling kind of sick.” I sat down at the kitchen table with my cereal and took a bite.
“Aw, well do you want me to stop by later?”
“That would be great,” I smiled. I felt my stomach lurch. “One second,” I said quickly and dropped my phone and ran to the bathroom.
I threw up in the toilet. My once beautiful Lucky Charms were now discoloured and in the toilet with the rest of whatever I had eaten today. I wiped my face with a cloth, and rinsed my mouth out.
I walked to the kitchen, feeling a little dizzy, and picked up the phone. “Sorry,” I said quietly, grabbing the bowl of now soggy cereal.
I put it down on the kitchen counter. “Are you okay?” Tony asked, warily.
“Yeah, I just got sick, I’m fine,” I sounded even more worn out and tired than before, now.
“Okay, well I’m going to go eat, and I’ll be over right after, so lay down for a bit longer, and when I get there, I’ll let myself in.”
“Okay, bye, love you,”
“Love you too,” He said, hanging up the phone. I went to the bathroom again to go pee and then went back to lay on the couch. I turned on the TV and started watching cartoons.
I fell asleep again, and about an hour later, I heard the door open and shut quietly, waking me up, and then Tony walked into the living room. He knelt down beside the couch so his face was parallel to mine.
“How’re you feeling?” He asked, putting his hand to my forehead. “You don’t feel warm,”
“Shitty as fuck,” I mumbled, still half asleep. Sitting up slowly, I made room on the couch beside me for Tony to sit. After he sat down, I leaned over and buried my face into his chest. “You smell good,” I giggled quietly.
About twenty minutes later, he changed the channel and we started watching the movie Shrek. I was pretty much out of it, the entire time, so after it was over, I didn’t really do anything, I just kind of sat there.
Looking up at Tony, he looked down at me and leaned in to kiss me. I buried my face back into his chest before he could. “I’m sick,” I said, “I’ve been throwing up all day, and you want to kiss me?” I made a face. “That’s kind of disgusting,” I chuckled.
“You definitely are tired,” He whispered. He brought me onto his lap, and put his hand on my forehead and it dropped to my cheek. “Are you sure you don’t just have food poisoning? Shouldn’t your forehead be warm if you had the flu?”
“I don’t know,” I said. “I feel blah, and I have to pee.” I got off of Tony’s lap, and quickly walked to the bathroom. I pulled down my pants and sat down, noticing that I hadn’t bled onto my pad at all... I guess it was just a bit of spotting? I don’t know.
I took off the pad, and went pee before washing my hands and going out to sit back beside Tony. I leaned against his side and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled my feet up so they were across his lap.
We watched another random movie that was on TV at the time, before my mom got home.
“I’m home!” She yelled, after opening to door. I heard her put her keys down on the counter and he jacket ruffling.
“In here!” I called back.
She walked into the living room, looking down at her phone, “Hey, Olivia—“ She looked up. “And Tony,” She let out a laugh and smiled.
“Hey, Mrs. Reid,” Tony waved with his hand that wasn’t around me.
“Hi mom, how was work?” I tilted my head a bit, looking towards her.
“Work was okay, and call me Mary, Tony,” She smiled again before going into the kitchen. “How about you guys, what did you two do all day?” My mom yelled, so that we could hear her from the fridge.
“Well, I had band practice, and then afterwards, Liv told me she was sick, so I came over,” He shrugged. “And that was around 6, and its,” Tony checked the time on his phone. “apparently 10:30 now,” His face was shocked.
“I slept all day,” I said, laughing.
“Are you feeling any better?” She asked, standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe. “Do you want some soup?”
“I don’t think I’ll be able to hold it down, I haven’t been able to eat all day,” I shrugged.
“Well, it’s getting late, I think I should head home,” Tony said. I took my legs off his lap and he stood up, his loss of touch making me shiver lightly. “I’ll see you tomorrow, goodnight.” He leaned back down and kissed my forehead.
“Night,” I said. “Love you,”
“Love you too, he smiled, looking back as he walked to the door, waving at my mom. I heard his car start outside and I looked out the window, and saw his drive down the street towards his house.
I picked up my blanket and brought the tub of ice cream that me and Sierra finished earlier into the kitchen. “I’m gonna go to bed,” I said.
“Okay, goodnight sweety,” Mom said, kissing me on the cheek. I wrapped the blanket around myself tighter and walked upstairs.
I couldn’t wait till I got the chance to move out. I had a part time job at HMV, and I had saved up for over a year now. I almost had enough to cover the apartment that I wanted, I just had to wait until I was eighteen, which was soon, seeing as my birthday was in two and a half months.
I pulled the blankets back on my bed and walked over to my dresser and pulled out one of Tony’s sweaters that he left here. I took off my sweatpants and crawled into bed and fell asleep almost instantly.

A Week Later

Third Person

Everything had been going smoothly that week. Olivia had been sick another once or twice that week, and she had gotten a promotion at work; she worked the same hours, but her pay was doubled. The work she had to do hadn’t changed much except she had to go into the stock room once a week and count up some of the stuff in there with the other two workers in the same position as her.
Tony, on the other hand, was doing great, too. His band had formed and they had started to write for their upcoming EP. Olivia had met the band too; and they were all really nice and she was excited for him. They had named their band Pierce The Veil. It was original, and almost everyone they asked liked the name so they kept it.
With a groan, Olivia shut off her alarm clock that read the time, 9:30 am, threw the blankets off and went to the washroom and took a shower. She had work in two hours. After her shower, she got out, and went to the washroom.
Hm. My period’s late? She thought to herself. Suddenly, she filled with worry. What if I’m pregnant? What am I going to do? How would I tell Tony? What would he do? Oh my god, how would we tell our parents? My mom’s going to kill me
She finished getting ready for work and with about 45 minutes to spare, she grabbed her laptop, and googled symptoms of pregnancy.
She ran her hand through her hair, nervously after reading the webpage. She had shown all those symptoms in the past week.
But, I can’t be pregnant? Tony wore a condom, but what if it broke? Her breathing was uneven and she started to cry quietly.
She picked up her phone and dialed the number to her work.
“HMV, what can we do for you?” The owner, Reagan answered.
“Hey, it’s Olivia,” She said shakily. “I can’t come into work today, something came up,” She bit at her lip. “I’m really sorry for the short notice,”
“Oh, no worries! I’ll call in Darren or Keith, don’t worry about it.” She brushed it off. “Feel better, though!”
“Thanks, Reagan. Bye,” She hung up the phone and brought her knees up to her chest, letting out another quiet cry.
Olivia’s Point of View
Text to Turtle<33
“hey text me when you get this i need to talk to you”
God, he’s going to think I’m breaking up with him. I’m such a terrible person. I slipped on a baggy grey hoodie, and a pair of dark sunglasses. I went downstairs, noticing that my mom’s car was gone, and that it was raining. I put my hood up, and ran out, unlocking the door and quickly getting inside.
I turned on the heat, warming up, as I was now soaking wet and shivering. I took my phone out of my jacket pocket and wiped it off on my pant leg and then threw it on the seat beside me.
I drove to the pharmacy, and fixed my hood before I stopped and got out of my van. I walked quickly towards the entrance, practically running. I hurried through the door and towards the isle where the pregnancy tests were.
I grabbed three or four different ones. How would Tony react if I actually was pregnant? And God, how would my mom react if she even found out we had sex?
I walked quickly towards the cash, making sure no one saw the pregnancy tests as she walked by them, just in case they knew her or her mother somehow. I got to the cash, and put the tests down, as she rung them up.
“That’ll be $43.75, cash or debit?” She looked towards me. Wow, $12 per test is expensive when it adds up.
I held out my debit card, “Debit please,” my voice croaked. I put in my card, and typed in my pin, quickly. She handed me the bag and I said thanks, and quickly walked back to my car.
I drove home, practically speeding, and ran inside, through the rain. I ran upstairs to my bathroom, taking the tests with me. Two of them were the pee in a cup type, and two were the pee directly onto the stick type.
I decided to do all four of them at once, and then I waited. It takes three minutes—and I felt as if I couldn’t sit still. I set a timer on my phone and went out and sat on my bed. When the timer went off, I practically ran to the bathroom. I grabbed all the four tests, and set them all next to eachother.
+ + + +
I sat down on the toilet after putting the lid down. I heard my phone ringing from out on my bed. I stood up, dizzily, and picked it up. Tony was calling.
“Hey,” I answered, my voice unsure, as if I were asking a question.
“Hey, I just got your text now, what do you need to talk about?” He asked, his voice seemed happy. Just like it had yesterday, and every other day.
“Yeah, do you think you could come over for me to tell you?” I questioned, trying not to sound upset.
“Yeah, I’ll be there in five, bye,” He hung up. I walked downstairs, grabbing a cup and pouring orange juice into it. I stood at the counter, leaning my arms on it to hold myself up.
I heard a knock on the door. I walked over, opening the door. Seeing Tony standing infront of me only made me feel even more sick.
“Hey, are you okay?” He asked, “You look a little pale. Have you eaten yet?”
I nodded and turned around walking inside a bit so he could come in. “I have something I need to show you.” I said, my voice cracking.
He nodded, and I grabbed his hand and we walked upstairs to my room. I opened the door to my bedroom. He threw his coat onto my bed and I went into the bathroom, Tony following behind me. The tests were still on the counter just how I left them. I felt my eyes start to water, and I felt tears start to fall down my cheeks. I felt myself shake as I started to silently cry.
Tony walked into the bathroom right beside me and for a second, he didn’t notice what I was showing him. I didn’t say anything. I didn’t point it out. I just waited.
“Are you...?” He couldn’t even say it. I couldn’t even say it. I just sat there looking straight ahead at the tests. I nodded a little.
I felt his hand drop from mine. He ran it through his hair. He walked out of the bathroom into my room and started to pace back and forth. “When did you find out?” he said, harshly.
“Not long before you did,” I whispered, wiping a few tears from my face. He was almost seething.
“God,” he whispered. “I can’t have a kid,” He sat down at the edge of my bed.
“Well, how the hell do you think I feel?!” I raised my voice from my quiet whisper to a yell which made him jump.
“You don’t understand!” He yelled back, standing up again and moving towards me so he was standing a foot away.
“Are you fucking kidding me! I don’t understand? There’s a fucking child growing inside of me, and I don’t fucking understand?!” I wiped my face again with the sleeve of my grey sweater. “You’re right! I don’t fucking understand!”
“I meant, you don’t understand it from my side, fuck!” He yelled. His face was red. He stepped closer towards me.
“Do you understand my side at all? Do you know how scared I am right now?” I shouted. I stepped away to him.
“That’s not the fucking point, Olivia! God dammit, you’re so—“
“I’m so what?” I asked, my voice raising even more.
“You’re so fucking arrogant!”
I scoffed. “I’m arrogant, am I now? God, you’re such a fucking hypocrite, Tony! God,” I turned around, running my fingers through my messy hair.
I felt his hand grab my arm and try to turn me around. I tried to pull my arm from his grip, but he wouldn’t let go. I yanked at my arm again, but his grip just kept getting tighter.
“Let go of my fucking arm,” I said, pulling at it again. “Stop, you’re hurting me!” I yelled. He dropped his hand. I turned back around finally, to see his eyes still angry.
“I’m done with this,” He said.
“Done with what, this arguement, or us?!” I yelled to him. He grabbed his coat and stood up.
“I don’t fucking know!” He practically screamed back, leaving my room. I followed behind him at the same pace as he quickly went towards the door.
“So what, you’re just going to leave, because I’m fucking pregnant? I didn’t fucking ask for this, Tone,” I whispered as he reached for the door.
“Don’t ‘Tone’ me, not right now,” He mumbled, opening the door. He slammed it shut behind him.

Notes

I have up to chapter 4 written right now but I think I want to post them one by one, instead of all at once, y'know?

Anyways, what do you guys think? I know it was getting into the story slowly in the first chapter even though they did frickle frackle, but what do you think about the general increase in this chapter?

The story is moving along quite a bit, to me, and I would like some feedback, if you could :)

Thanks for reading :)
