What Are Friends?

My dad wasn't to harsh on me really, he said "I never liked those girls anyway" with a smirk after he finished yelling something about he doesn't appreciate being called at work because his daughter has been in a fight.

You know those days when you just can't seem to function, when even just getting out of bed seems impossible and the most productive thing you've done all day is move from your bed to the couch. Well today is one of those days. I was contemplating getting dressed and going for a walk but my feet seem to think they will shatter upon impact with the floor. I finally convinced my body it was capable of movement and dragged myself around the house.

I pulled my hoodie over my head and shut the door behind me breathing in the fresh spring air. I felt a lot better actually doing something rather than sitting around all day wallowing in self pity even if it took me until 1pm.

I walked along the beach until my feet were sore but i kept walking. I walked until the sun was setting and thought I should go back but I kept walking. I walked until the street lights behind the sand dunes flicked on but I kept walking. I walked until the first few stars were in the sky but I kept walking.

My phone started ringing and it was dad.

"Where are you? I've called all your friends and they don't know where you are Amily we're worried shitless!"

"Dad I just went for a walk on the beach"

"At 9pm?" He yelled through the phone.

"Well technically I left at 1"

"Where are you now?" He sighed.

"I have no idea" i said truthfully.

I started walking back when I got a gps text from dad followed by another saying Tony was going to ride his dirt bike along the beach until he finds me. I didn't realize I had been walking for 8 hours it didn't seem like that long and I wasn't walking very fast so it will take like half an hour for Tone to get to me. I walked towards the way I came in a fast pace so maybe Tony could find me faster.

About 20 minutes later I heard his bike and saw a lone yellow light in the distance. As he got closer the light got bigger and the sound got louder. He skid to a stop and almost sprayed sand all over me. He didn't care about his bike and just threw it on the ground after cutting the engine and ran over to me taking his helmet off.

"Amily thank God you're okay!" He said pulling me in for a long hug.

"I just needed to clear my head" I cried into his shoulder, I didn't realize I had worried them so much.

"Hey, hey look at me" He said lifting my chin so we were face to face "As long as you're alright is the main thing okay"

I nodded and then sunk back into his chest.

My arms around his neck his around my waist I don't know what struck me but it just seemed right. I kissed him, and he kissed me back. Hard.

Awwwwww :') This is cute, but what do you guy think? Should they be together or will it complicate things?
