It never ends

“Because scarlett doesn’t just call someone into the kitchen unless she wants to talk about something important” As oliver was talking I took the opportunity to glance out the window. It had stopped snowing but it was still a couple inches high. Maybe it will all be melted by tomorrow. In a way I’m kinda excited for class, call me nerdy but whatever.
“Hey, are you listening?” Oliver snapped his finger and I was slightly startled.

“What?” I said.

“Oh well thanks for ignoring me” he smiled I couldn’t help but smile. He seemed t be in a playful mood and I couldn’t help but feel happy when he smiled.

“sorry, I was looking outside, the snows not going anywhere is it?”

“Nope, but I know a good place to go” I furrowed my eyebrows.

“There’s nowhere to go”

“It’s obvious it’s your first year here” I heard the amusement in his voice, it sounded. “But anyway there’s plenty of places to go here” Oliver swept to the other side of the counter and grabbed my hand. His fingers were weirdly warm and slightly larger than mine.
“Where are we going” Oliver was dragging me out the kitchen and towards the front door.
As we neared the door i heard scarlett say “Hey where are you going” And I expected oliver to respond with an answer but instead he ignored scarlett and opened the front door leading me outside. When we were a reasonable distance from the dorm room and we passed the elevators.
Oliver opened a dark painted brown door that had been chipped a couple times. When he opened it ,it led to a long staircase going up. The stairwell was dusty and it looked like almost no one came in here. No one probably did.
Oliver didn’t let go of my hand even when we were running up the stairs. They were creaky and rusty but I didn’t care much. After a couple flights of stairs I expected myself to be out of breath but the excitement of where we were going was covering everything else.

We arrived to a hallway with boxes that could be empty but could also be filled, they were closed. A pink sweater was hanging on the railing. It didn’t look dirty.

We arrived to a corner and oliver turned around to look at me.

“now will you tell me where were going?” I asked.

Oliver grinned. “Were already here”. His voice was clear and echoed throughout the hall.

He opened the door to a clear rooftop garden. The roof was clear glass and there were patterns of green plants set into rows and columns. It was really pretty.

“where are we?”I asked looking around. I heard the roar of the blizzard outside.

“Once upon a time this building was the science hall and this was where they studied plants”

“How do you know”

“Because it was last year” He smiled a wide smile and pulled my hand towards the center of the room.

We sat down against a plant box of ferns. Oliver sat next to me.

“So” I started turning to him. He was leaning his head was against the plant box. He looked at me. His eyes were wide and I melted inside. “Why’d you bring me here?” I asked. Oliver shrugged.

“I don’t know” he replied. I refused to believe that.

“Oh come on Oliver, you know why, I mean, you kissed me” I immediately felt my cheeks turn red from the mention of when oliver kissed me. Oliver didn’t look dazed at all.

“and you didn’t stop me” he had a point I didn’t. I had come to terms with the fact that I had liked it.

“Well..” I couldn’t really argue back. “You didn’t give me a chance to” I said even though I immediately regretted it. Oliver laughed in my face.

“Why are you laughing at me?” I was already embarrassed and him laughing at me wasn’t making me feel any better.

“Because you’re nervous” Now that it was brought up I was a bit nervous even though I didn’t really have a reason to.

“but even if I did like you oliver I know nothing about you”

“okay then what do you wanna know

“Everything”

“okay that could take a while, I live a very interesting life” he smiled
