It never ends

“ I’m Skyler” I said picking up a plain black v-neck t-shirt. Yea, I’ll take this one, I looked around for one where the neck line wasn’t so low but this one was probably the highest.

“cool, if you’re looking for a jacket you should go with this one” I looked at alex who had a ‘ask me why I’m lazy’ shirt with a sloth on it. I huffed a laugh.

“I’ll just take this” I said holding up the black one in my hand.

Alex rolled his eyes and put the sloth shirt back. “fine” he smiled. “you’re no fun” he said jokingly.
I bought the shirt and turned around to leave.

“hey skyler, will I see you around?”

I barely knew him. But I didn’t want to be rude and just say no. He seemed cool.

“maybe” I answered and turned back around. I saw him smile before I walked away.

I quickly changed my shirt in the nearest bathroom (which wasn’t the cleanest) and went to go find oliver. He said he was by the bar so I guess I’ll look their first.

It was a short walk but I had to maneuver my way through the crowd. It was dusk and I checked my phone. It was 8. Wow time flies fast.

I found oliver sitting down next to austin. They were talking and austin was alternating his eyes looking to oliver and scarlett , who was dancing rather racy. I walked up to oliver and wrapped my arms around him from behind. Ifelt oliver take another sip of his drink. He turned around and I felt his hands drift down into my back pockets and pull me closer towards him. I could smell the faint scent of alcohol on his breath. I wrapped my arm around his neck and touched our foreheads together. I grinned. Just the feeling of being around oliver made my nerves tingle. It was exhilarating and we were just standing there.

“Hey where were you?” he whispered. I drowned out the sound of the music outside.

“I was just talking to tris”

Oliver lowered his eyes on my shirt. “Why’d you change”

“ Well when I finished talking to tris I got a drink spilled on my shirt so I just got another one and changed.”

Oliver moved his head to my shoulder and put his lips to my neck.

“you took your shirt off without me?” he said playfully. I smiled and oliver pulled his head up looking me in the eye.

“Hey Oli!” I heard a voice call. Oliver snapped his head back.

It was austin holding hands with a drunk scarlett. “It’s 8:30”

“k hold on a sec” oliver said before turning back to me.

“Cmon” he said getting up. He laced his fingers with mine.

“Wait where are we going?” I asked. Oliver didn’t answer.
