There's No Such Thing As Too Young

Forty One

*Mike's POV*

"This brings back some memories, huh?" Casey chuckled, observing the students as the filed out of the school gates, laughing and joking with their friends.

I was parked outside and waiting for Millie.

She hadn't text me back today, and that was weird.

Casey and I had been busy painting all day, but I'd had my phone on me at all times.

"Yeah, we were little shits in high school." I laughed, thinking back to things we used to do.

"I might have to pull a teenager like you and Tony." Casey joked, admiring some of the girls around.

"You're crazy."

"And this is coming from the guy who's engaged to a Seventeen year old." Casey scoffed.

I rolled my eyes at him.

I caught sight of Fiona walking out of the gates, Millie wasn't with her.

I frowned, that's strange.

They were always together.

She was heading towards Tony who was parked behind me, waiting to take her out and spend some time with her.

I quickly rolled down my window.

"Fiona!" I yelled, causing her to look up.

She looked at me weirdly and made her way over, looking at me in cofusion.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Picking Millie up..." I trailed off, causing her eyes to widen.

"She left at lunchtime!"

"She what? Why?!" I asked, my voice high.

I was panicking now.

"She had a run in with Megan!" Fiona exclaimed, tugging at her hair.

"Did she say where she was going?" Casey asked calmly, trying to be rational about the whole situation, whereas I was going insane.

"She said that she was going home because she wanted Mike, are you sure she hasn't been home?" Fiona asked.

"Obviously not if I'm here, wondering where the hell my girlfriend is!" I yelled, ducking back into the car as students looked around for the source of the shouting.

I was so lucky that my car had tinted windows.

"How long ago did she leave?" Casey wondered.

"Lunch was Three hours ago."

"Where is she?!" I bellowed.

"I don't know, Mike! Stop shouting at me!"

"We need to find her, I have to. Go and get into the car with Tony, look around town for her and call me if you find her!" I instructed, starting up the car.

Fiona nodded and quickly ran to Tony's car.

I sped off down the street, my tires screeching across the tarmac.

"Slow down! You're going to get arrested!" Casey yelled, gripping onto his seat.

"I don't give a shit! I need to find her! Call her for me!" I growled, turning a corner.

Casey obeyed me and pulled out his phone, letting it ring.

I looked over at him.

"It's gone straight to voicemail, she's switched it off."

I snarled again and sped up.

Where the hell is she?!

Why is her phone switched off?!

Why didn't she come home?!

"Let's try the park, she can't have gone far." Casey spoke seriously.

I nodded calmly and drove down the road that lead to the carpark for the park.

My heart was banging against my chest.

I skidded into the carpark, parking up and throwing my car door open, jumping out and slamming the door.

"I'll take the north side, you take west! We'll search the others after!" I decided, not giving him time to answer before I sprinted through the park entrance.

I was looking around erratically, but the park was seemingly empty.

I needed to find Millie.

I couldn't take the risk of losing her.

I continued to run around for another hour, hearing nothing from Casey.

I was about to give up and search somewhere else, but that's when I heard a quiet sob from behind me.

I span around.

Millie.

She was under a large oak tree, shaded away from daylight.

Her knees were pulled up to her chest and she was sobbing into them, her body shaking and trembling.

I sprinted over to her, dropping to my knees.

She jumped as she was startled.

"Millie, sweetheart. Where have you been? Why did you run away?" I asked frantically, pulling her body into my arms and embracing her.

Her clothes were damp, which seemed funny because it hadn't rained at all today.

Her hair had also gone curly, much like it does when she's showered and not straightened her hair.

Millie's eye makeup had smudged under her eyes, telling me that she had been crying for a long time.

Millie grasped onto me tightly, crying into my shoulder.

"What happened to you, baby? Why are you wet?"

"Megan and her friends." She sobbed, just stuttering out the name.

I tensed up.

"What did they do to you?" I asked, taking her face in my large hands and forcing her to look at me.

Fresh tears fell down her pale face and her nose was red from where she had been rubbing it.

She shook her head as the tears spilled.

"They held me still and she threw water o-on m-me." She hiccuped, throwing herself into my arms again.

My blood boiled and my temper flared.

"Mike? Mike!" I heard the distinct voice of Casey shouting my name in the distance.

I looked up.

"Over here!" I yelled back, shrugging my hoodie off and wrapping it around Millie tightly.

Casey came running over to us, panting heavily.

"You found her."

I nodded and pursed my lips.

"We need to get her home and dry, call Tony and let him know that I've found her." I instructed, picking Millie up and standing on my feet.

Casey did as he was told and also grabbed her bag.

I carried Millie to the car, laying her in the back and ordering Casey to drive so I could sit with her and warm her up.

I instructed all the guys to meet us at mine and Millie's house.

Millie allowed to me to carry her inside our house and upstairs, where I took her into the bathroom.

She stood shivering in the middle of the room, sniffling and wiping her eyes.

Casey was downstairs waiting for everyone to turn up, they were also worried about Millie.

I kissed Millie's forehead gently, rubbing her arms and unzipping my hoodie, pushing it off her shoulders.

She shuddered when I proceeded to pull off her jumper, letting the cool air hit her skin.

She wrapped her arms around her torso, shielding it from my view.

I could see the outline of her ribs and her backbone, but my eyes focused on something else.

I gently grasped ahold of her arms.

They were covered in bruises and they were in the shape of hands.

By the size of the bruises, it was safe to say they were caused by a male.

My jaw clenched but I kept quiet.

I'd deal with that later.

Next, I leaned down to pull off her shoes and socks, dumping them into the corner, with the other items of clothing.

I proceeded to unbutton her jeans and tug them down her thighs, letting her kick them off the rest of the way.

She stood before me in her bra and panties, shivering as she continued to hide her body from me.

I sighed and leaned into the shower cubicle to switch it on.

Once the water was on, I made my way back over to Millie.

I stood behind her with One hand on her hip and the other unclasping her bra.

I kissed her shoulder gently as I removed her bra and tossed it aside.

I then hooked my thumbs into the waistband of her black panties, pulling them down.

Millie kicked them off her feet and I took her hand, guiding her into the shower.

She moaned lightly when her skin made contact with the warm water.

She reached out and pressed her wet fingers to my chin.

"I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry about." I assured her, kissing her palm.

Millie nodded and pulled her hand back.

"I'm going downstairs, beautiful. Call me if you need me, I'll be back to check on you in a little while." I murmed, brushing her wet arm.

She nodded and smiled slightly.

I left her to it, shutting the bathroom door.

Rocky sat infront of it, keeping guard.

I patted his head as I walked past, jogging down the steps.

When I entered the living room I was met with the sight of my brother and my friends watching me anxiously.

I silently plopped down onto the sofa, covering my face tiredly.

"How is she?" Vic asked, sitting down next to me as the others looked at me expectantly.

"She's shaken up."

Everyone nodded.

"She has bruises on her arms, One of those bastards held her down." I growled, clenching my fists.

"I would have helped if I was there, Mike, I'm sorry." Fiona muttered shamefully, looking down at the ground.

Tony wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"It's not your fault, Fiona." I replied, sighing.

"What is she going to do?" Jaime inquired.

"Nothing, I already know. But, that doesn't mean I'm gonna stand back and potentially watch her get hurt again."

"What do you mean?" Jaime frowned.

I ignored his question.

"Fiona, where does that gang hang around after school?" I asked her, a sly grin making its way onto my face.

"I've seen them by the alley next to Bernadette's, the craft store." She informed me.

I nodded thoughtfully.

"I don't like the look on your face, what are you up to?" Vic asked skeptically, narrowing his eyes.

"I'm gonna pay them a visit, and give the guy something to chew on for touching Millie." I told them.

Vic groaned.

"I'll come with you." Tony nodded to me.

"Me too." Jaime added.

"Me Three." Casey spoke.

We all looked at Vic.

He shook his head quickly, but we all continued to look at him.

He hesitated under our gazes.

"Fine, I'm in." He sighed, caving in.

I leaned back, satisfied.

"We'll give those kids something to talk about." I smiled, cracking my knuckles.

Nobody hurts Millie and gets away with it.

I've let the other incidents pass, but that's not happening this time.

I'm their worst nightmare.

Notes

Woo! Millie is safe! I almost ended it badly, but I couldn't bring myself to!

What do you think the guys are gonna do?

Also, there's only 1/2 chapters left until it's done! wahh!

It was going to be more than that, but it's already so long!

I'm going to miss writing this!

Aw, anyway, leave me your feedback and ideas, I love reading your positive comments! <3
