I Never Meant To Be Your Pain

When we arrived at Karma, Vic and Jaime were already at the bar drinking and downing shots. They turned around in their chairs and smiled at me and Tony. He squeezed my hand and leaned down next to my ear.
“They’re drunk already,” he chuckled as we approached them.
“Ava!” Vic shouted, stumbling off his chair to give me a hug.
“Hi Vic,” I laughed, looking to Jaime who waved. Tony frowned.
“No hello’s for me, gentlemen?” Jaime waved and took another sip of his drink.
“We see you all the time, Turtle.”
“Gee, thanks guys.” I laughed as Vic wrapped his arms around Tony.
“I’ll give you love, brother.” He pulled away and went to go sit back down in his chair at the bar. “I’m so drunk,” he smiled.
“That you are,” Tony looked around. “Where’s Mike?”
“Oh,” Vic held up his finger, “He’s out with Alysha,” he smirked and gave Tony a high five.
“God, I should’ve known.” Vic suddenly got up and grabbed my hand.
“I’m taking your pretty lady out to dance!” he shouted over the music. I followed him into the crowd of people on the dance floor and started moving to the music. We danced for a minute before Tony came over to my and squeezed my arm. He looked down at me.
“Want anything to drink, beautiful?”
“Jack and Coke please,” I smiled. He nodded and made his way back to the bar by Jaime.
“How are you and Tony?” Vic shouted, shuffling around in front of me. I nodded.
“Good.”
“God damn, he missed you while we were on tour. He never shut the hell up about you!” I blushed and looked back up as Tony handed me my drink. I smiled and grabbed it, downing half of it as soon as it was in my hand.
“Fuck, I gotta pee!” Vic shouted, searching the room for a bathroom sign. “Be right back guys.” I took another sip of my drink and started dancing around with Tony. I looked over his shoulder and glared at Leith who was walking over to us.
“Hey sexy,” He snaked his arm around my waist and started grinding up against me.
“Get the fuck off of me!” I turned around and pushed him away into some other guy who was dancing. I caught hold of Tony’s shirt and clung tightly to him, not liking the way Leith had touched me.
“You should really grind against her more often, Tony!” Leith shouted. “She’s got a nice ass,” he winked.
“You’re a pig!”
“The dirtier the better!” he smiled. I rolled my eyes and looked up to Tony. He leaned down and pressed his lips to my ear.
“Ignore him, okay?” I nodded and wrapped my arms around Tony’s neck, dancing with him.
“It’s not nice to tell secrets guys,” Leith shouted, dancing up against me once again. I started to feel uncomfortable and looked back up to Tony. He tightened his grip on me and held me closer to him.
“It’s okay…” he assured. I laid my head down on his chest as we danced together. Leith finally left us alone. “Are you alright, Ave?” Tony asked. I nodded.
“I just hate him so much. He’s a creep.” Tony chuckled and continued to dance with me.
“I’m gonna go get you another drink.”
