Maybe People Can Change..
Me and Mike have been talking for almost a month now. He's really really sweet actually...
It's December now, and it's getting really cold.
"Chelsea, there's something I'd like to ask you.." Mike said.
"Yes?" I said.
"Well I know we haven't been talking that long, but I as wondering if you would be mine?" He said shyly. "I really really like you."
I was shocked. I started developing feelings for him too.. And he told me before he liked me, but I didn't know he was serious.
"Sure Mike," I said with a smile. "I'd like that."
"Great!" He picked me up in a hug. "Now get only your bus, I don't want you to freeze. I'll text you tonight lovely."
I hugged him good bye and then got on my bus.
The next Friday, there was a school dance. I took it as an opportunity to see Mike. But of course, he got suspended, and couldn't go. But since I already bought my ticket, I decided I would just sit on the bleachers out back and listen to my iPod.
When it was time to leave, I walked back up to the front of the school, and I was greeted by a warm hug from Mike.
"How was the dance love?" He asked after he hugged me.
"I sat on the bleachers and listened to my iPod the entire time." I said with a chuckle.
"Love.. Because of my suspension and winter break, we won't be able to see each other for a while." He said, his mood suddenly changing.
"I know." I said.
"You have to promise me you'll wait for me.. And you won't find anyone else. Promise me you'll wait.." He held my face in his hand ever so gently.
"I promise." I said.
He slowly brought his face close to mine, and kissed my lips gently. Sparks flew, and I could've stayed there forever. When he pulled away, he rested his forehead on mine.
"I love you.." He said almost whispering.
"I.. I love you too." I hugged him and rested my head on his chest.
"Your mom's here love. I'll see you after break, okay?" He said hugging me.
"Okay." I said. I got into my mom's car, and I couldn't get over how perfect the night was.

So that was our first kiss, and our first "I love yous" . It all felt like a movie.
