I think I'm in love with you..

Kellin..?

Jaime's P.O.V.

We finally arrived to the hospital & they got Vic to the emergency room quick. I stayed in the waiting room. Finally, after about an hour, they let me in to see Vic.

"Jaime." Vic looked up to me coming his way & smiled.

"Baby, are you okay, Vic?" I felt tears form my eyes. I was just happy he was alive & breathing.

"Yea, baby. I'm fine. I got two broken ribs but other than that, I'm great." He held back his laugh so he wouldn't hurt himself.

"Thank god, Vic. I'm not sure if I could live without you." I saw Vic smile. I pulled him into a kiss & he was surprised. but he didn't stop me.

He fell asleep a few minutes later. I stayed with him just in case he woke up. Then I heard something on the other side , behind the curtain splitting up the room. It sounded like they were bringing in another patient.

"Alright Mr.-" The nurse was cut off by the patient. Then I heard a familiar voice.

"Kellin, please. Call me Kellin." Kellin?...what is he doing here?

"Alright, Kellin. Please get into this hospital gown & we'll be with you in about 30 minutes for your surgery."

"Um...wait, I uh- what if something goes wrong?.." I heard Kellin's voice getting a little shaky. Surgery? What the fuck is going on?

"Kellin, you'll be just fine. I promise you. We've done this procedure many times & you're in good hands." I heard the nurse walk off & shut the door. I heard some moving on the other side & assumed he was changing. Once I thought he was done, I decided to find out some things.

I walked to the curtain & swung it open. Kellin turned around to see me & his mouth dropped.

"Jaime! What uh, what are you doing here..." He quickly sat up in the bed, looking up at me. His face went pale & he looked like he had just been caught for murder.

"I, uh, Vic got hurt." I said turning my head to Vic. Kellin's eyes were filled with concern & he jumped out of bed & ran over to Vic. Kellin started shaking & his eyes were wide.

"Vic, oh my god, are you okay?" Kellin asked, lightly shaking Vic. Vic woke up & looked up at Kellin.

"Kells, Hey I'm fine. What are you doing here?" Vic asked as he smiled at Kellin.

"I, well...the big day is here. Hopefully if the surgery goes well, I'll be 'no cancer Kellin'. " Kellin smiled at Vic. Was he serious? Cancer...

I couldn't help but hear the rest of their conversation standing there awkwardly & looking at them as they spoke. I knew by the way they looked at each other, they both loved each other very much. And honestly, there's nothing I can do about it. This is Vic's first love. They're together & they both instantly perk up even when they're at their lowest. I can't do that for Vic. He doesn't look at me the way he looks at Kellin. I actually felt really jealous right now but I couldn't let it get the best of me. I let them talk & just before the nurse came in to see Kellin, I heard him whisper something to Vic.

"As long as you're here with me," Kellin grabbed his hand...Vic held it tight.

"I know I'll be okay." Vic whispered back to him. They smiled at each other & the nurse came in to take Kellin.

"Good luck, Kells. I'll see you when you're out." Vic lightly yelled.

"I'll see you too. Love you." Vic smiled at him. And with that, Kellin & three nurses went out the door.

That whole moment they had just made me realize. They love each other. Always will. I don't think Vic feels that way about me.

I stood there holding back tears. I know he didn't intend on doing this on purpose. It just happened. They have an unbreakable bond.

"Jaime..I think I'm feeling better" Vic smiled at me & motioned me to go to him. I sat next to him on his bed & he kissed my cheek. Psshhh...yea, feeling better after talking to Kellin.

"I'm glad you are, Vic." I smile at him & kiss his cheek too. I hid my jealousy.
