The Fault in Her Scars .

"Taylor? Are you ready to get your ass whooped in this game?" Erin asked me, laughing and high-fiving Tony.
I snapped out of my daze and looked up at her. "You wish, Jaime and I are the dream team!" I yelled back, Jaime wrapping his arms around my legs tighter.

"Okay ladies, I'll be the judge of who's the dream team!" Vic said. "Are you ready?" He yelled, and we all nodded our heads. "Then go!"

Tony walked Erin over to us and she reached her hands out, trying to push me off, but I was stronger. I grabbed her hands and interlocked fingers with her and started to push her backwards, remembering my old cheer coach saying never to bend your elbows because it would make you weaker.
"Move closer Jaime!" I yelled, moving my body up so I could get ready to push Erin off. Jaime moved closer to Tony and I pushed Erin's hands up high, and she fell off of Tony's back into the water.

Jaime and I screamed and laughed, watching Erin come up giggling.
"And the winners are, Jaime and Taylor!" Vic said, trying to impersonate an announcer.

I giggled and leaned backwards, falling of off Jaime's back into the pool.
"Taylor, oh my gosh, let's do that stunt thing we always used to do when we were younger in the pool!" Mike said, swimming over to me.
Mike always thought my cheerleading was cool and he was definitely upset when I quit.

"Tony, help me with this stunt. Vic's too short," Mike said, sticking his tongue out at Vic, who was scowling at him. "And Jaime, just hold Taylor's ankle and thigh and push her up when I tell you too."

Jaime and Tony came over and got in position with Mike, and I put my foot up in their hands.
"I have jeans on so I'm not sure how pretty this extension will be Mike." I mumbled, and he smiled at me.
"Just try."

"Okay, ready Taylor?" Mike asked, and I nodded my head.
I was actually really nervous, I had jeans on and I was afraid to fall out, and I could barely focus with Jaime's hands on my waist and the other on my thigh, almost touching my butt.
"Alright, push up Jaime and then hold her ankles." Mike yelled, and Jaime did just that. I went straight into the air and squeezed my muscles, looking down to see Mike and Tony had their arms completely straight.
I heard Vic's phone shutter going off and Erin was smiling from ear to ear.

"Okay, let go of her right leg and Taylor will pull it up." Mike said, and everyone let go of my right leg. I pulled my leg up and stretched it out, and somehow it was surprisingly straight.

"Smile!" Vic yelled, and I hit my high-V, looking at the camera. Vic finally stopped taking photos and Mike began to explain how I'd come down.

"So we'll dip, push up, and then catch her with our arms out, okay?" Everyone nodded and Mike and Tony dipped and pushed up, but I decided to do a front tuck instead of just coming down.
I jumped off their hands and did the flip, landing in the water with my feet touching the floor.

"Holy shit Taylor, that was so cool!" Vic yelled, smiling at me.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm a natural."
"You should go back to cheer. I'm sure they miss you." Mike said, nudging me in the ribs.

"Look at this," Vic shouted, showing us the picture of the stunt. I had to admit, it looked pretty good.

"Good job Taylor," Jaime said to me, pulling me in for a hug. I smiled and hugged him back, my smile growing even wider when I realized how warm he was compared to me.
I just wished I could tell him how warm he made me feel inside.

Sorry for that lack of updates, BUT I MADE MY SCHOOL'S VARSITY COMPETITIVE CHEER TEAM! :) :)
Sorry this chapter is so short too. Meh. I'll do another one tonight hopefully and yeah.
And in the next chapter, Jaime and Taylor will get together, but there's gonna be a time jump.
