The Fault in Her Scars .

"I'll be downstairs in a minute, get out of here so I can change Tony!" I said, pushing him out the door. He laughed and walked out, and I shut the door.
I quickly went through my closet and decided on this. I threw the shirt and shorts on and ran downstairs, squealing when I saw Oli.

"Oliver Sykes! I have missed you so much!" I yelled, running into his arms.
"I've missed you too! Gosh, you look so pretty!" He half-shouted, squeezing me tighter.
Oli rubbed my back as he held me, eventually spinning me around in a circle before placing me back on the ground.

"Okay, okay, where's the love for Nicholls?" A voice piped up, and I spun to see Matt standing there, a wide smile on his face.
"Hi babe!" I said, hugging him tightly and kissing his cheek. "It's been so strange without my bestie."
Matt nodded his head in agreement, flashing me a bright smile and wrapped his arm around my shoulders, leading me to the living room. I noticed that everyone else had already settled in, all of them looking expectantly at us to sit so they could begin the game.
As I sat down next to Matt and Oli, I rolled my eyes at Jaime and Kate, seeing that they were sitting next to each other, holding the other's hand.

"You ready for some Truth or Dare Taylor?" Tony asked, wriggling his eyebrows at me.
"Seriously, we always play this and it never ends well. Never." I groaned, leaning up against the couch.
"Fine. Then we can play Never Have I Ever. Sound better?" He asked, sticking his tongue out at me.
I nodded my head as Vic got up and passed me a bottle of soda and a shot glass, handing everyone else alcohol and identical shot glasses.

"I'll start," Vic said, pouring the alcohol into his glass.
"Never have I ever kissed Matt Nicholls." Vic stated, winking at Matt.
Matt giggled and I sighed, lifting my glass and drinking it.

Mike stared at me with wide eyes.
"You did WHAT?" He said, disbelief lacing his tone.
"Yeah.." I mumbled, running my fingers through my hair.
"No way, when did this happen?" Vic asked, looking between Matt and I.
"Um, it was when I was in freshman year. This girl was making fun of me because I hadn't kissed anyone yet and I was fourteen. Matt was getting me from school that day and uh, he heard her and he kissed me to shut her up. Needless to say she never made fun of me again." I said, looking around the room.
I noticed Jaime had tensed up, his face contorted like he was jealous. I shrugged him off and looked down at my hands.
"Wow, that's actually a pretty cute story!" Alysha said, giggling.
I shook my head and looked at Matt, and he smiled cheesily at me.

"Okay, never have I ever had sex in a siblings room." Danielle said, smiling to herself.
I watched as nobody took a drink, but heard a sigh come from Mike as he picked up his glass and drank from it.
"You little fuck, you did not!" I said, my eyes wide with horror.
"You never wondered why I ended up deciding to randomly get you a new bed set?" He asked, choking on his own laughter.
I closed my eyes and cringed, leaning into Matt's side.

"Never have I ever confessed my love for someone in this room." Oli said.
My eyes shot wide open as my breath caught in my throat. I thought back to the night Jaime unknowingly told me he loved me.
Mike, Vic, Alysha, and Danielle all picked up their drinks, but what scared me the most was when Jaime picked up his. I grabbed my and quickly drank it, thankful when I noticed everyone was looking at Jaime.
"Uh Jaime, you don't love me already, do you..?" I heard Kate ask, and I swear in that moment my heart stopped. "Because if you do, that's okay. I might feel the same."

The tears welled in my eyes and I knew they were threatening to fall over, but I wouldn't let them. Jaime made eye contact with me and gave a small smile, while taking a deep breath in.

"No, no. I don't. Kate, you're a nice girl, but you were just somebody I kept around to get over someone else. I know it wasn't right of me, and I'm sorry."

Jaime took a pause and then looked at me.

Truth be told, I'm in love with Taylor."
