the fear in my heart is enough to make me cold

I can hear Mike calling my name from the kitchen

Mike: LIIIIVVVVVYYYYYY!!!!
Me: jesus christ what the hell do you want Mike it's 6 in the goddamn morning!
Mike: i know but i couldn't sleep sooooo, i made breakfast
Me: And you couldn't wait to give it to me when i got up because?
Mike: well because then it would have turned to dust.
i hit his arm playfully and sit down at the table. i had to admit Mike is a fantastic cook but at the moment food and i were not the best of friends. I ate my meal perfectly fine, the question was if I could keep it down. after about five minutes I felt disgusted with myself and I made my way to the bathroom. I turned on the sink to hide the sounds as I purged myself of the poison that made me feel so gross. apparently my efforts to hide the sound had failed because two minutes later there was a pounding at the door.
Vic: Liv, are you okay? unlock the door!
"shit" i whispered "um yeah Vic, i'm fine....just a bit of a stomach bug i guess, don't worry i'll be out in a minute!"
"are you sure?" Vic said with concern in his voice
"yeah" i replied "i'll be out in a few" i heard him leave and i took a deep sigh of relief. i slowly opened the door and walked back to my room. i lied down in my bed and before i knew it i was asleep again.
