Runaway

Rachel went around her apartment straightening everything. She came back to the sitting room and glared at Jaime who has his feet on the coffee table. She picked everyone's coats up and hung them up.
"God, calm down," Jaime snapped.
"It's only your brother," Vic tried.
"You don't know him," she sighed.
"Come and sit down. Relax," Tony soothed.
"But-"
"Rach, sit down. Now!" Rissa ordered. Rachel sighed and sat down on the couch next to Tony.
"Okay, you need to think before you say things when they're here," she rushed. "Don't do anything to annoy Darren. And Tony you've never stayed the night. Okay? We've never had an argument and you love me with all your heart,"
"I do love you with all my heart," he frowned deeply.
Suddenly the intercom buzzed. Rachel got up and went over to pick up the phone on the wall. "Hello?" she asked.
"It's me. Buzz me up," Darren said. Rachel sighed and let them in. She unlocked the door and went back into the sitting room.
"It'll be fine," Tony promised and rubbed her lower back.
"When he's here do something for me?" she asked.
"Anything,"
"Don't touch me," Rachel replied and took his hand away.
The door opened and some people walked in. The door was shut and everyone turned to look at who had walked in. There were eight men. They all looked fairly similar with strong frames, bold tattoos and the same kind of clothing. One of them was more forward that the others. He had his dark hair styled to the side.
"Rachel," he said. Rachel stood up and grinned at him. He went over and he wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her tightly to him and spun her around. "I've missed you," he whispered in her ear.
"I've missed you too, Darren," she replied warmly.
"So, you're living here now?" he asked, pulling away.
"Yeah, I am," she smiled.
"I like it,"
"Who did you bring? There's so many," she sighed.
"Just the boys. You said you needed them,"
"I didn't think you'd bring all of them,"
"I did it for you," Darren said.
"I know," she smiled lightly.
"So tell me why there are so many guys in your apartment and we can start getting things done," he said and went to take a seat in the sitting room. Everyone followed and stood around him. Rachel sighed heavily and stood between them and everyone else.
"Okay, these are my friends Vic, Jaime and Rissa," she introduced them. "This is my brother Darren-"
"Switcha'," Darren interrupted. Rachel rolled her eyes and sighed.
"My brother Darren who goes by the name Stitcha' and his . . . friends,"
"What about you?" Darren asked Tony.
"I'm Tony," he replied.
"Tony's my boyfriend," she eventually said. Darren stood up quickly and looked between them.
"Boyfriend? Fucking hell, Rach!"
"Sit down," she snapped. Darren sighed but did as told. "He's my boyfriend and I really really like him,"
"Okay," Darren muttered.
"Can I tell you what's been happening somewhere private?" Rachel asked, looking at the guys behind Darren. Darren nodded and stood up. "If you touch any of them I'll-'
"You'll do what?" Darren asked amused.
"I'll fuck you up, tough guy," Rissa threatened.
"I like her," one of the guys smirked.
"Come on," Rachel sighed. She took Darren into her room and they sat down on her bed.
"How did you meet him?" Darren asked.
"He was the first person I met since I moved here. I was stuck on the side of the road and his bus stopped. I passed out but he caught me," she explained.
"Does he treat you good?"
"Yeah," she smiled. "He says that he loves me,"
"Do you love him?" he asked.
"I do," she nodded.
"Has he ever done anything bad to you?"
"Never," she shook her head.
"Before I go I need to talk to him,"
"Please don't," Rachel begged. "I really really like this one,"
"That's why I need to talk to him," Darren shrugged. "Anyway, fill me in,"
"Okay, so there's this woman. She comes up to me a few times at concerts asking about Tony. When I mention her around him he gets weird and runs away. So I tried asking his friends but they wouldn't tell me. By this point Megan is phoning me too. She said that I should find out who she is. I got the feeling she was an ex girlfriend, but Tony said she isn't. I went to see one of Tony's ex's. She told me about Megan," Rachel explained.
"What's up with Megan?"
"Basically her and Tony hooked up a few times. They had a friends with benefits thing. He called it off but she won't let him. She's destroyed all his relationships. He doesn't want anything to do with her. But she's broken into my apartment before. She's even got some of her guys to hurt my friend,"
"What did they do?"
"They glassed Mike in the face,"
"Where is he?" Darren asked.
"In hospital. He gets out today hopefully,"
"I'm going to sort this out, Rach. I'll fix it," he said warmly. He took Rachel's hand and kissed it gently. "I think we should sort out where everyone's sleeping," he said. Rachel nodded and got up. They went back into the sitting room. Darren walked straight up to Tony and kicked him hard in the foot.
"Darren!" Rachel exclaimed. "Are you okay?" she asked Tony urgently.
"I'm fine," Tony told her.
"Now that's for bringing all this shit on her. I'm not going to do anymore. But you endanger her in any way, shape or form again and the fact that you're her boyfriend and that my little sister loves you will mean nothing! You hear me, nothing!" Darren said angrily.
"I get it," Tony said.
"Now," Darren smiled. He went to sit down again and looked across at them. "Tomorrow I'm going to call some guys I know from up here. I'm going to find out who her boys are. Then we're going to get them all somewhere we can lock up. I'm going to make them leave Rachel alone. If I have to fuck up everyone in the room I'll do it. I'm Switcha' Lancaster and everyone fucking knows I won't back down," Darren told the room with a smile on his face.
