Runaway

Rachel felt Tony take her hand and looked up. He smiled down at her and she squeezed his hand. They were in the green room. The boys were going on soon. Rachel was sitting on the couch with Tony and Vic. Jaime was stretched out in a couch which he had claimed for entirely himself. Rissa and Mike had mysteriously disappeared. "Do you think they're done?" Jaime asked casually.
"Done with what?" Rachel asked stupidly. Vic raised his eyebrows at her and laughed. "Oh," she muttered and buried her face in Tony's chest before she blushed.
"You're so naive," Vic teased.
"I'm not," she mumbled again Tony's chest.
"You are," Tony whispered in her ear.
"You never know. I could have been a gangster in LA,"
"You're many things, but a gangster isn't one of them," Tony said and kissed her cheek.
"I need to talk to you," she sighed. She had to do it now. He was due on stage so he couldn't run away. Everyone was here so he couldn't get angry.
"What about?" he frowned. Rachel pulled away and bit her lip anxiously. "You can tell me anything," he reassured her.
"Hmm," she mumbled.
"Do you want to go somewhere private?" Tony asked. Rachel shook her head in reply. "If things aren't working out . . ." he trailed away while Jaime and Vic looked at the floor awkwardly.
"No, everything with us is fine! I promise," she smiled.
"What then?"
"Um . . . you know Charlotte?" Rachel asked. Everyone looked at her and she wrung her hands together.
"I know a Charlotte," Tony confirmed.
"She's your ex,"
"So?"
"She ended things with you because of 'her',"
"Who are we talking about, Rach?" Tony asked tiredly.
"You know who,"
"Tony," Jaime tried, but Vic glared at him.
"I went to Charlotte's house,"
"What?!" Tony exclaimed. "Why would you do that without telling me?"
"Because she's the only person that would tell me who Megan is!"
"Who is she then?"
"I don't know,"
"See! So it was fucking pointless!" Tony growled and stood up.
"Don't walk away again!" Rachel begged. Vic got up and stopped him from walking away. The door opened and Mike and Rissa walked in. They frowned and looked around.
"What's going on?" Mike asked.
"It's about Megan," Jaime explained. Rissa looked over at Rachel to was looking sadly down to Tony who was still being held by Vic.
"What did you say to her?!" Rissa demanded.
"Nothing," Tony snapped.
"No, she's sad now! You made her upset so don't you dare leave, you bastard,"
"Rissa," Rachel tried.
"No! Now Tony Perry I don't care how good your guitar skills are or who the hell you think you are! You made my best girl sad so sit the fuck down and talk to her or God help me I will make you!" Rissa fumed.
"Fucking hell," Mike mumbled.
"Now!" Rissa snapped. Tony sighed and went back to the couch. He sat down and glared at the floor. "Rach, what's going down?" she asked.
"We were talking about when I saw Charlotte. He still won't tell me about Megan," Rachel explained.
"Yeah, but-" Tony tried but Rissa held up a hand to silence him.
"Didn't ask you," she rolled her eyes. "Anyway, I thought Charlotte told you,"
"She did. But I still don't know some things. Like what she actually does,"
"Care you share with the group, Ladies?" Mike urged.
"Apparently Megan and Tony used to-" Rachel tried but stop. "How's a nice way to put this?" she asked and Rissa sighed.
"They used to fuck!" Rissa said and Tony glared at her.
"So is it true?" Rachel asked.
"Look, it was so long ago," he tried.
"A yes would have been okay," she replied.
"I was in high school. It never meant anything, Rach. I promise,"
"Well, it must have to her. Why else would she still be after you?"
"But it was years ago,"
"What about when you started things up again? Before you called them off. That wasn't too long ago," she shot back.
"What else did she tell you?" Tony finally asked.
"That Megan split up every relationship you've had since. All the things that are happening happened to her too,"
"What things?" Vic asked carefully.
"Oh, I don't know," Rissa said dryly. "Maybe the phone call!"
"What phone call?" Tony frowned.
"You didn't tell him?" Rissa asked, confused.
"Megan has been contacting me. She phoned me not long ago," Rachel explained.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Tony rushed.
"Whenever I try to talk about it you just run away,"
"Because I don't want to lose you,"
"Then talk to me!" Rachel sighed. "Who is she? What does she do?"
"Okay," he breathed. "She lives in San Diego. She's a fashion model,"
"And a fucking psychopath," Rissa muttered.
"She's the reason I can't have a girlfriend,"
"I still don't get how one person can make every girl leave," Rachel thought aloud.
"She makes it so he isn't worth dating," Jaime said quietly.
"I'm not going to leave you," Rachel told him easily.
"I know," Tony replied. Rachel moved over to him and kissed his cheek. Tony smiled and leant down to kiss her lips.
"We need to go on," Vic said. The boys stood up and Rachel and Rissa followed them out. They walked down a corridor and to side stage. The boys lined up and Rachel kissed him one more time. Rissa pulled her to the side and they stood watching. The boys ran out and started playing.
"Rissa," Rachel said.
"Hmm?"
"Can you see her?" she asked anxiously.
"I don't know what she looks like," Rissa reminded her. "It's okay though," she reassured her.
"So, where was you?"
"With Mike," Rissa grinned.
"What were you doing?"
"Wouldn't you like to know," he winked.
"Oh my God!" Rachel laughed.
Then Rachel's phone buzzed. She looked at it and gasped.
"What?" Rissa rushed.
"Look," she urged. Rissa took the phone and her eyes widened. On the screen sent by an unknown number was a picture of them both laughing only a minute ago. Underneath it were the words 'watch out'. "Where is she?" Rachel asked.
"She's insane," Rissa replied. "Fuck you!" she suddenly called and held her middle finger up at no one in particular.
"Stop," Rachel warned.
"I'm not letting this bitch scare you," Rissa spat with venom.
