A Match Into Water

*Vic's POV*

~3 Weeks Later~

Finally all the stress of booking a surprise holiday and its all done, we leave tomorrow.

She needs this, she needs a holiday to get away from all of this....to help here forget.

It was time to text Alisha and tell her what to do.

Hey princess, I know you hate surprises but you need this so what you need to do now is pack your case for a week away pack some jumpers and then summer clothes as it could be a little chilly.....I love you baby I will be up tonight to pick you up <3

I pressed send and immediately got butterflies thinking that I get to have a full week with my baby.

My phone began to buzz, it was Alisha.

-My baby girl <3
What? What's happening please tell me please??? Meh short notice much sweetheart, I love you too <3

I began to type back.

I know baby but you'll enjoy it I know you will, shhh you best be speedy with your packing then....I 'll leave you to pack now darling <3

I couldn't help but have this big foolish grin on my face.

~A few hours later~

So there I was outside her house, I walked up to the door and knocked....Alisha bounded up to the door and flung herself around me.

I went upstairs to go get her case when I saw her mother passed out on the bathroom floor.

I walked into her room and had a horrific flashback from when she tried to kill herself...I shuck my head and went and grabbed her case taking it down the stairs and put it in my trunk while Alisha sorted out her mum.

I sat in the car waiting for my sweetie to come, she locked her home and got into the car.

"So where are we going?" Alisha looked nervous but excited still.

"Ahhh I can't tell you that so you best get some shut eye okay? It's a long drive, there is a blanket on the back seat for you if you need it sweetie"

Alisha hummed in agreement pulled the blanket from the back and curled up getting comfortable before shutting her eyes.

~Half an hour away from our destination~

Alisha was sleeping still, she must have had no sleep.....suddenly driving through the country lanes I heard piercing screams...I swerved across the road managing to regain control, it was Alisha.

She couldn't stop screaming and crying, I didn't know what to do other than pull in at the next safe place I could .

I pulled in and held Alisha close to me to comfort her until she awoke from her nightmare.

Alisha woke up pulling her closer to me sheltering herself from everything.

"Baby don't worry we will be there in 15 minuets okay and when we get there me and you will lay down and snuggle, okay princess?" I can't stand seeing my beautiful angel like this....I really can't.

She nodded not saying a word at all...

I continued driving until we arrived at the hotel, I took our bags into the hotel with Alisha hooked on my arm keeping close.

I checked us in and I took Alisha up to our room.

"Go find our room and lay on the bed, I'll be in in a second okay?" I kissed her forehead before she walked away with crossed arm and her sleeves over her hands, I know she's feeling bad when she does that.....

I placed our suitcases down and joined my princess in the bedroom. I laid next to her and she immediately clutch to me as if she was going to be ripped away from me placing her head on my chest.

"Baby it's okay your safe down here in Cornwall"

Still she hadn't said a word she just nodded and began to cry....I didn't know what to do so I decided to spin her around and be big spoon protecting her from all I could.

I placed my hands onto her stomach, I felt her jerk and take a deep breath in....she pulled my hand away to closer to her chest.

I didn't understand why she wouldn't let me touch her stomach.....

We laid there and fell into a deep sleep next to the girl that I will marry, life couldn't be more perfect.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while guys but unfortunately I have just been to depressed to have the motivation to do anything, so I do apologise for that.

I do go away early hours Saturday morning for 2 weeks so there wont be any updates while I am away...
